Another option for WM33, TNA post-Joe, HHH and Steph move up in WWE, WM31 Q&A, Interview with HHH, rare Vince photos, Rey finally freed, nixed HoFer, more Network content, new Mania match, Rollins on the Daily Show, and Questions on where Bryan stands, the crazy Reigns story, Brock getting paid for walking out, what to watch on the Network, tag teams in the HoF, and Rollins cashing in

In addition to Minneapolis and Orlando, Philadelphia has expressed interest in hosting WM33. Who knows how that city would receive some WM stars. Who will be on the card then, anyway? I suspect Sting and Taker will have retired by then.

Unsurprisingly, there was a hit to the morale of TNA's locker room after Samoa Joe departed. He had been there for many years and was seen as a locker room leader. TNA will continue to exist, but things will definitely feel different with another recognizable veteran now gone.

WWE has added Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to their Board of Directors. That's a pretty big move. I imagine it comes with more pull for both of them as we continue to approach a day when they'll take over. The other addition is a good one for the company's future, too. New media are really growing as revenue streams.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

John Cena, Hulk Hogan, and Stephanie McMahon did Twitter Q&As to promote WrestleMania 31. That's pretty cool. I can't wait to see what's next in the promotional pipeline for WWE.

Update: Here are some answers:
- Cesaro and Harper are definitely both really talented.

- If Cena tops the official record for World Titles, he'll reach an even higher level of hatred from the super-fans.

- What could possibly be a bigger accomplishment? Other than maybe wrestling Stone Cold and going into the Hall of Fame, I don't see much else on the horizon. Wrestling on the moon, maybe?

- The cynic in me thinks the real reason they don't do writers credits is to limit the writers' pull. And maybe to hide how often they change writers!

- Quite the PR answer for the Divas question. It definitely doesn't sound like she's going to push for it.

Triple H talked about going into the International Sports Hall of Fame and more. The changes in training for WWE wrestlers are really good because they make sense for what they're doing. It's not just about physique anymore. As for his role behind-the-scenes, it's been a great step in the right direction to focus on the future more than they were previously.

WWE.com showed some never-before-seen photos of Vince McMahon. It's cool to see who he was decades ago. I think sometimes we forget his history and focus too much on what he's doing today.

WWE has moved Rey Mysterio to the alumni section of their website, likely signalling an official end to his time there. I think that was the best route for all involved. It's not like he was going to return to the ring for the company. I imagine there was still merchandise sold while he was inactive, and WWE can justify keeping him from that perspective, but his days as a full-time wrestler have been over for a while.

As for what this means for everyone going forward, I think WWE's going to continue developing the likes of Sin Cara and Kalisto, hopefully adding some more lucha names to their roster in the years to come as well. Obviously you can't "make" another Rey Mysterio overnight, so they need to put in the work to make a long-term project succeed.

Rey will almost definitely go to LU and AAA now. I don't know how many matches he has left in him, but he definitely brings a big name to the table and can do some high-profile stuff in Mexico. I wish him the best after a disappointing final few years in WWE due to injuries and Wellness violations. I really enjoyed him in his prime and even some of his later feuds, but it's obvious there was only so much left for him to contribute.

Update: WWE will likely make an official announcement of Mysterio's departure soon. I'm not really sure why they didn't do so when they moved him to the Alumni section unless there's more heat than I thought.

Update: While a public announcement is still forthcoming, WWE did confirm Rey's contract has been terminated.

WWE has canceled plans to induct Ray Stevens into the Hall of Fame this year. He was perfect for San Francisco. I'm not sure why they changed their minds on him.

WWE Network will add every Hall of Fame ceremony to the VOD section on March 1. That's good.

Bad News Barrett will defend the Intercontinental Championship in a ladder match at WM31. The storyline of the physical title being taken from him is a clever way to set that up. Dean Ambrose, R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler, and Daniel Bryan are all expected to be challengers there. I'd like to see Miz and Mizdow included as well. That's a good place for the latter to win the title, with Miz wanting him to hand it over.

Seth Rollins appeared on The Daily Show to continue his angle with Jon Stewart. I hope this pays dividends for WWE. It's gotten a lot of buzz already.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I can't really argue with their take here. I'd say Bryan's "a" top guy based on the fact he just headlined Fastlane, but he's definitely not being used as one of the men in the WWE Title hunt going forward. I can see why Brock, Taker, HHH, Cena, and Sting are in top Mania matches based on what all they've accomplished, but it's obvious fans are really behind Bryan. Only one of those five names will be working full-time after WM31. It's possible some of them don't work after WM31, and if they do, WM32 could be their last date. WWE needs to really build some new full-time names, which I think they're doing to a degree. It's just clear during Mania season, the special guests are the main attractions and the favorites.

2. The story itself was indeed ridiculous. If it was true, it'd be huge and worthy of attention. But as a completely false claim? Totally worthy of mockery. I seriously question anyone who fell for it.

3. Good question! He was booked, but didn't fulfill his contracted duties. WWE will probably work something out with him since he's such a big part of things right now, but I think they'd be justified in not paying him (or at least docking his pay).

4. Watching the Manias after the Rumbles makes sense. It all depends on what and whom you're into. Personally, I pretty much just watch the fresh content (NXT, Superstars, PPVs, and the Austin podcasts), since I've got other responsibilities and interests.

5. I also don't suspect we'll see an all tag team Hall of Fame class anytime soon. I do think we'll see a lot of teams go in, though.

6. Rollins is a little busy with Randy Orton right now. It'd be ridiculous of him to lock himself into cashing in in a triple threat anyway. Why not wait until Reigns and Lesnar have beaten the hell out of each other, THEN cash in?

More wrestling tomorrow.
