NBA name wants to get back in the ring, another international tour for WWE, live notes from NXT, Interviews with Zayn/HBK/Wuertz, UAE press conference, outside names working One Night Only shows, DA loves TNA, and Questions on the Bullet Club, the Young Bucks, and other inductees into the Hall of Fame

Karl Malone, who was once part of the main event of a WCW PPV, called out Brock Lesnar. No way does that happen.

WWE will return to Australia in August. That's cool. I hope they do well there.

Here are live notes from the recent NXT special. I was also let down by Corbin vs. Dempsey. Cara and Kalisto might try just a bit too hard. I'd rather them do a smaller number of moves really well than throw the whole kitchen sink out there.

Sami Zayn talked about being NXT Champion and more. He's done a really great job down there. The fans love him, and for good reason. I think he's dead-on about putting NXT on the Mania card. It's very different in front of a large crowd.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
WWE held a press conference ahead of their events in the UAE. I want to see Rollins and Ziggler in PPV main events in 2015.

The woman who jumped the rail during Tyler Breeze's entrance was NXT signee Gionna Daddio. She used to be a Hooters model. I think the idea of Breeze having groupies is pretty clever.

Ric Flair and Larry Zbyszko were in attendance at NXT Takeover. That's pretty cool.

Brian Kendrick was expected to be part of this week's NXT tapings. It's possible he becomes a trainer.

The Great Muta, Jeff Hardy, and the team of Ross and Marshall Von Erich will be working  at least some of this weekend's One Night Only TNA PPVs. I think the Von Erichs could end up getting a serious shot at joining the TNA roster full-time if they impress this weekend.

Here are highlights from a recent HBK interview promoting his new book. I'm curious to know what match pitch he thought was good. HBK vs. Bryan would have been amazing. It was set up well, but wouldn't have been as big as what they did do with Bryan. The Barber Shop window spot is still really big. It was cool to see an homage to it in the feud with Jericho.

Destination America put out a press release praising TNA's positive effect on their network. The president of DA should send Dixie Carter Valentine's Day flowers, because TNA's been really big for that company.

WWE.com interviewed NXT referee Drake Wuertz, who was previously known as hardcore wrestler Drake Younger:

- They've got to do something between him and Solomon Crowe, right?

- Honestly, him being a referee in NXT instead of giving himself more scars is probably a good thing for him.

- A Chris Hero reference was nice to see. It's still a little wild to see them name people competing outside WWE. I know I should be used to it, but it hasn't been that long since he was released.

- I love the idea of a more technical guy in the land of cutting people open.

- It takes a very special kind of person to go through a 200-light-tube deathmatch. That scar's something.

 - When there's a true danger of getting lacerating to a large degree, it's discomforting to see people cheering that on.

- It's really mature of Wuertz to get clean and focus on his family. Good for him.

- I wonder if any wackos ever showed up to his day job and chanted C-Z-Dub at/to him.

- I like the idea of former wrestlers as refs for reasons of putting the match together, although it was distracting to see Nunzio as a ref.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
Nothing to add to 1.

2. I suppose there's the argument they're the nWo/DX for this generation and for that audience. I think The Young Bucks are the epitome of what's wrong with wrestling in 2015, but they're for a different audience.

3. It's kind of a worked shoot in that there's definitely heat on The Young Bucks from a number of traditionalists. There are reasons they're not working WWE or TNA, as a number of veterans felt disrespected by them.

4. I agree with their answer here. There are definitely headliners for the foreseeable future. Throw Batista in there, too.

5. I'd like to see that, too!

More wrestling tomorrow.
