WWE Network anniversary, NXT lineup, physical WWE HoF update, Impact audience, Sting note, NXT name on TV again?, more possible HoF names, Von Erichs profiled, what happened after Raw, and Questions on changing MITB, the Punk lawsuit, NXT vs. WWE, Bray vs. Taker, and changing the Rumble

WWE Network had a special "birthday" marathon to celebrate it being a year since they launched. I wonder what Year Two will hold?

Update: WWE Network was free for a day for its anniversary.

Set for this week's NXT:
- Finn Balor vs. Brian Kendrick
- Hideo Itami vs. Bull Dempsey
- The Lucha Dragons vs. Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger
- Baron Corbin vs. Tye Dillinger
- Bayley vs. Becky Lynch

That first match sounds pretty great on paper. Becky vs. Bayley should be good as well. The rest have potential.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Jerry Lawler wants WWE to house a physical Hall of Fame at Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis. WWE currently has no plans to house one. I would think the Orlando area would be a good fit since that's where the WWEPC is. Either that or close to their home base in the Northeast. I know at one point they were throwing around the idea of a physical Hall of Fame being a touring exhibit, but obviously nothing has come of that.

Friday's Impact Wrestling got 453,000 viewers in the 8 p.m. timeslot. They're not doing bad at all by Destination America standards, especially when you add in the replay.

Sting went home following Fastlane, so there were never any plans for him to be on this week's TV.

Kalisto was booked for both the Raw and Smackdown tapings, so we could see more from the Lucha Dragons later this week. I'm curious to see how he'll do on the main stage.

WWE is looking to induct Madusa and Tatsumi Fujinami into the Hall of Fame this year. Two great additions! As for any heat between WWE and Madusa from the incident on Nitro, that was quite some time ago. They interviewed her on WWE.com, so it's not like this is out of nowhere.

ESPN will air a piece on the Von Erich family this week. If TNA knew that ahead of time, I wonder if they would have used the youngest Von Erichs for this week's Impact. It would have been smart business, I think.

The dark main event after Raw was Cena/Bryan/Reigns/Ambrose beating Rollins/Kane/Show/Wyatt. That's a pretty loaded list of names.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Rollins should be able to win via forfeit if Brock isn't there, but my guess is The Authority would do something to prevent that from happening. Obviously the title doesn't change hands when there's a count-out. I'm fine with the MITB briefcase as it is. Having a babyface win it and setting a definitive cash-in date is a good idea. Getting rid of the "anytime, anywhere" aspect isn't. That's what makes MITB stand out from any other #1 Contender's match.

2. It might have taken that long to get a case together and to see the effects of the lawsuit. I do wonder if the "Z-Pack" chants at NXT had any bearing on this. He can still prove his reputation was harmed inside his profession (perhaps by arguing it would impact his chances of getting a job elsewhere), and, through the punitive damages, send a warning to anyone who makes similar statements about him or other doctors. Of course, if the allegations can be proven true, it won't do him any good!

3. I think if it made more money than Raw or Smackdown, Vince could try to use that to get some main roster talent to work NXT to get them over. I could see NXT starting to influence Raw and Smackdown more in that case. It's definitely not going to happen anytime soon, if ever, but it's an interesting hypothetical.

4. That's pretty cool! I think I'd get behind that scenario if they executed it right. It would almost certainly make Bray a face, though, and I don't know if that's what they should do.

5. That MIGHT work. I appreciate the creative thinking. I see no reason to change the stipulation for the Rumble itself, but I like them shaking things up in February by putting that title match in jeopardy or doing something else to make a meaningful feud between the Rumble and Mania.

More wrestling tomorrow.
