Query on WWE vs. TNA ratings in 2015, more from GFW, more on Punk lawsuit, coverage for Stewart vs. Rollins, Interview with BNB, ROH rumorkiller, Smackdown audience, and Questions on Joe at Mania, Waltman in the HoF, Butch Reed, NXT training, and Crimson

First up, a query:
1. In 2015, TNA's ratings have taken a pretty big hit relative to WWE's. Destination America isn't on a lot of people's TV packages, so it's not going to be at the same level. More people have the WWE Network in the U.S. than watch TNA on DA each week. I'd say TNA has about 15% of the audience WWE has in the States.

There are expected to be more announcements about GFW around the time of WM31. There's talk of showing another NJPW PPV, as well as potentially an AAA PPV. We could also be in for some GFW live events in 2015, and maybe even a TV show. GFW's not going to become "a thing" overnight, but maybe they can establish a good base.

The Chicago Sun-Times covered the lawsuit filed against C.M. Punk and Colt Cabana. Honestly, I think the doctor might have a case. It all depends on how serious Punk's issues were and whether the allegations against Amann have merit.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Sports Illustrated covered the Jon Stewart-Seth Rollins feud. I hope there's more from this. Rollins and/or Ziggler should mention it in the promos ahead of their match at Fastlane.

Update: Seth Rollins teased going to the Daily Show. Genius!! I hope WWE Management is "with it" enough to take advantage of this.

BNB was interviewed. I'd also like to see British Bulldog in the Hall of Fame. And Owen Hart. And.... you get the idea.

TNA put out a press release on coming back to German TV. The show's been pretty good lately, by the way.

Despite some online rumors to the contrary, there are no negotiations between ROH and Spike. I don't know if ROH would really bring in more viewers than TNA did anyway.

Smackdown's audience on Thursday was 2.40 million, down for the last show before Fastlane. Hopefully things heat up for the remainder of Mania season.

WWE responded to the C.M. Punk lawsuit:
- It's interesting they referred to him as Punk instead of Phil Brooks. It's not like he'd be called C.M. Punk in court (although that would be funny).

- They actually sent video! They did a pretty good job with that video providing clear shots of the area in question. It's not immediately clear in the video he had anything wrong.

Update: Here's a video of Punk showing the scar from having the lump removed. Obviously something happened there. I think the court could rule "baseball-sized lump" as an exaggeration and not consider it libelous IF there was a lump there and the accusations of a WWE coverup are true. It'll be something to follow.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Tragedy might be a bit strong. I'd like to see him get a Mania match if he can deliver in WWE, but there's no guarantee he'll even be signed.

2. I think Waltman's turned his life around more than Chyna has. He's rebuilt his reputation after the low point of his career. I do think he'll go in at some point.

3. I'm also not sure. It could have been a number of things.

4. I definitely think they'll get more experience working the road when HHH thinks they're ready and enough venues can be booked. I doubt they'll work as strenuous a schedule as the people on the main roster. We'll see.

5. It's possible he worked a match because he was a Gutcheck winner, not to try to earn a contract through Gutcheck. I could be wrong, though. Maybe he has to impress to get back in TNA?

More wrestling tomorrow.
