TNA stars thank Samoa Joe, assorted press, more praise for Joe, Raw audience, Brock update, praise for Vince's magazine, Smackdown guests, Cabana profiled, former WWE/WCW/ECW/TNA name retiring, and Questions on Cena's movie, the future for Owens, Hogan's biggest moments, Zayn vs. Owens, and TNA in the UK

Kurt Angle, Magnus, Mike Tenay, and Josh Mathews all said good things about Samoa Joe as he left the company. He's been an incredible talent for TNA. I hope we see more great matches from him in the future.

Update: Velvet Sky weighed in, too. The company's definitely lost a lot of talents associated with the name TNA, and a number of big outside names, too. There are still some prominent TNA Originals and big non-TNA names, but I do think from a prestige standpoint they're not what they were a few years back.

Update: PWInsider looked at Joe's ROH and TNA careers. They pretty much nailed it. He's a really special talent and it's a shame we might never see him on the big stage.

Update: Stone Cold says WWE should pick Samoa Joe up. I agree!

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
BNB and Stone Cold were involved in a Twitter conversation about some soccer stars. Dean Ambrose should mention this in a promo at Fastlane.

Raw was at just shy of four million viewers this week. That's good!

There are rumors Brock Lesnar will be signing a new deal with WWE after WM31. I think part of the intrigue of the show was it being his last show. I wonder what they do with him after that show if Brock loses the title and "passes the torch" to Reigns, Bryan, or Rollins.

Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Hulk Hogan, and John Cena all congratulated Vince McMahon for his recent magazine cover. I can imagine how the bodybuilder chairman feels about these smaller stars who can wrestle like no one's business but aren't jacked like he is.

Victoria and Jesse Sorensen were at the most recent Smackdown segment. I'd like to see Victoria get either one more match or get to be a guest trainer in NXT.

Rolling Stone profiled Colt Cabana. He's doing great outside WWE. I wish he would have found a role there, but I'm glad he's doing good things.

Kid Kash announced plans to retire in 2015. He's had a really long and fruitful career. It has to end sometime. I wish him the best.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. That's pretty much it! John Cena plays "John Cena" on WWE TV, but he plays someone different in that movie. That movie isn't for kids. It's like saying Daniel Radcliffe can't do anything Harry Potter-related now. Harry Potter didn't do anything nude, so there's not an inconsistency.

2. Owens vs. Balor and Owens vs. Zayn in a rematch would make sense. I'd like to see Itami feud for the gold, too. And maybe Owens vs. Rhyno?

3. Absolutely Hulkamania. The nWo was big, but I think Hulkamania was even bigger. There was never an nWo cartoon or pasta restaurant.

4. It goes to show how amazing those two are.

5. There's also the factor of flying all those talents to the UK that often. I think we'll see them go to the UK fairly often, but unless they plan on essentially becoming a UK promotion, I think they'll keep taping shows more cheaply in the U.S..

More wrestling tomorrow.
