Del Rio-AAA update, Smackdown audience, NXT live event notes, Flair to be profiled, Interviews with Bubba Ray/Nash, and Questions on watching Smackdown, WWE signings, a WCW/ECW game, and bringing back guest hosts

It doesn't look like Alberto Del Rio will be working any TV tapings for AAA due to his WWE commitments. At this point, it's unknown when or how he'll drop his championship there. It could just be that he's stripped of the title and doesn't appear for AAA at all.

Update: Del Rio was advertised for events with AAA on Nov.1 and Nov. 15. He isn't advertised for WWE events on those dates yet, so it's possible he does work the AAA shows in order to drop his championship there. WWE should definitely let AAA use him for what he's already been advertised for.

Smackdown's audience Thursday was 2.17 million. The show's in quite a slump.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Here's a live report from a recent NXT live event. It's fun to see what new stuff they're up to down there.

Ric Flair will be on ESPN's 30 For 30 series. That should be great!

Rich Swann made his NXT debut at a live event this weekend. More on that as it comes in.

Bubba Ray Dudley talked about his return to WWE and more. I'm quite glad he and D-Von didn't win the gold, given the roll the unicorns are on.

Kevin Nash talked about HBK potentially going to WCW and more:
- Of course Hulk wanted to be the top star forever and not have others get that spotlight.

- Rey beating Nash was presented as a surprise fluke.

- Goldberg vs. 50 nWo guys could have been fun, although by 1999 both concepts had seen fresher days.

- Well said about kicking out of so many moonsaults.

- If Sting's healthy for WM32, I definitely think he'd want the big money match with Taker.

- I really hope we're not in for more from Nash in WWE. The last thing they need is another star from 20 years ago in the spotlight.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. The action is usually pretty good, and different people get spotlighted. It's worth giving it a shot.

2. For whatever reason, they don't feel like she's indispensable enough to make part of the talent roster.

3. It would all be a matter of if WWE signed off on it. I imagine they'd bring up how WCW and ECW have been out of business for 14 years. Would they really want to invest so much time and money into a project like that when they can keep cranking out games featuring the stars of today?

4. Not at all! It's fun to have some guests here and there, but a lot of times it was just a promotional vehicle for something I didn't care about before or after.

Nothing to add to 5.

More wrestling tomorrow.
