NXT+MSG live event notes, Storm-NXT update, Interview with Heyman, new WWE merch deal, and Questions on fixing WWE booking, Chad Gable, Joey Styles, Network priorities, the WM32 main event, and Sting as a draw

Here are results from NXT in Nashville. Some notes:
- I hope Alexa Bliss ends up doing well as a wrestler. I've liked her in her manager role.

- Eva Marie remains dangerous in the ring. They need to be careful with how they use her.

- I'm glad it was a sellout.

There was also another report of James Storm being in attendance. How hard does the place erupt if he appears at a future Takeover special? As far as is known, he hasn't actually talked about coming in. I think he'd be a great addition, though.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
Paul Heyman did another interview before MSG. That was obviously a really big night for him.

WWE is partnering with PEZ. That's pretty cool. I've wanted to see that for a while now.

WWE in MSG sold out. For a show featuring Brock Lesnar's return, I'm glad.

Zack Ryder beat Bo Dallas and Mark Henry beat Brad Maddox/Joshua Kingsley before WWE in MSG aired. I wonder what the odds are of us ever seeing Maddox/Kingsley on TV again. How many people would remember him?

For my take on the first set of yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. A title change on Raw is also not a long-term fix. I concur that it needs to be a deeper, more long-term alteration of what they do to bring fans back. The Attitude Era is over, and so is the Ruthless Aggression Era. While guys like Cena and Orton can still go, and even some of the AE names can still contribute, it's 2015 and they need to start booking like it on a larger scale. I mean, even the WWE Champion is more or less secondary to Triple H (who only wrestles a few times a year). Who's headlining Hell in a Cell? Two guys who fought inside the structure more than a decade ago. I'm looking forward to the match, but it's more reliance on the stars of years gone by.

2. I haven't heard anything about Dan Gable's involvement or lack thereof. It was probably just an homage like the same Seth Rollins for Henry Rollins, and that's about the extent of it.

3. If you watched that Raw to the end to see all that, you didn't exactly send a message to WWE that you're not a fan of what's happening. If, however, you would have changed the channel when Big Show, Cena, and Kane came on, the rating might have gone down and WWE would have evidence you don't like seeing those performers in big roles.

4. We get it. You don't like the older stars. Why not tell WWE who you DO like seeing by watching their matches, buying their merchandise, etc.? Otherwise they're not going to change anything because you actually watched the PPV headlined by Sting and a John Cena title match, sending the message you're not fed up with it.

5. Styles has been the head guy at WWE.com for years now. By all accounts he's much happier there than on commentary.

For my take on the second set of yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It's easier to upload new stuff than convert the older stuff, especially if there's not a huge demand for it. It's an ongoing process to get things like ECW, WCW, etc. from the pre-digital days onto the plafform.

2. In a word, YES. Also some people don't want to pay for cable anymore and just watch whatever's on Hulu/YouTube/the Network and illegal torrent sites. They can then skip Big Show matches or whatever they didn't want to see when it was on TV, not to mention all the commercials.

3. I wouldn't say so. That look's kind of the point in the Wyatt Family. There's still plenty to distinguish people.

4. Maybe. I don't think they should do that finish to the Rumble, though. It's kind of played out at this point.

Nothing to really add to 5. It's honestly hard to pin who is and who isn't a draw just because they were on top, although that's one popular barometer.

More wrestling tomorrow.
