ROH taping notes, NXT live event notes, Gaburick on TNA in India, HIAC visitors, and Questions on NXT ignoring TNA, NXT outperforming WWE, Crews as the next Cena, bringing back squashes, and the indies drying up

At ROH's recent TV tapings:
Samson Walker defeated Hakim Zane in a Future of Honor dark match.

Leah Von Dutch beat Crazy Mary in another dark match.

ACH suffered a concussion at the first taping leading to him missing the second one.

Kongo beat the Outlaw in another dark match for ROH. ROH as a whole might be going dark in a little over a month as far as their DA deal is concerned.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
Here's a live report from NXT this weekend:
- There are rumors Cass is legitimately hurt, but able to at least do what he does in a tag match.

- Really good use of Corey Taylor.

- I can only imagine what will happen if the "drunken metalhead" audience clashes with the kids' audience.

- Breeze was already booked for the show before his Smackdown debut. He'll almost certainly finish out what he's already been advertised for before becoming a main roster guy for the long haul.

TNA executive John Gaburick talked in India. TNA's really banking on India being a big market for future stars. I hope that pays off. They've definitely got stiff competition in the U.S..

Steve Austin and Candice Michelle were backstage at HIAC. It's been a while since Candice has popped up. I hope she's doing well post-WWE.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. WWE has their own version of history. It's all part of the work. If they buy TNA someday, they'll acknowledge it as in important part of this business like WCW and ECW were.  I suppose if TNA starting cleaning WWE's clock in the ratings, they might tout a signing who had worked there for more than a decade, but until then, it's just another rasslin' company.

2. They could easily write it off as NXT not being as heavily exposed as WWE, as in people aren't tired of seeing it and will go out of their way to attend while Vince has to write so much TV a week and NXT doesn't have that kind of pressure, etc.. I REALLY doubt Vince changes anything about the current product if he doesn't have to. He'll keep justifying his way of doing things as long as he can.

3. Before he gets to where Cena is in 2015, he'll have to get to where Cena was in 2005. Before he headlines his first WWE PPV, there's no way of knowing if WWE will push him to the moon. Crews is definitely really talented and likeable, though.

4. As was said, fans have a low tolerance for squash matches on the big stage of WWE in 2015. It's not that simple. I do like the idea of less being more and not oversaturating things, but that's easy to say when we're not the ones who have to keep ratings up.

5. I wouldn't go that far yet. We'll see how things look for TNA, ROH, EVOLVE, etc. in six months to a year. It's definitely concerning that one company is hording up so much top talent, but those talents are making good money and there are still places for them to cut their teeth so they can get noticed at that stage. If ROH and EVOLVE start to decline, then it will be time to sound the alarms.

More wrestling tomorrow.
