TNA UK tour update, Takeover note, Interviews with Henry/Y2J, WWE retail cards, big ROH match set, WWE Q3 2015 date set, TNA and ROH audiences, TNA attendance figures, TE note, new WWE PPV match, and Questions on calling the action, Reigns being cursed, the enemy of your enemies, WWE using "Bully Ray," and TNA's World Title Series

TNA will tape six episodes of Impact Wrestling from the UK in late January, as was more or less expected.

The latest Takeover event was really well received backstage in WWE, as it should have been. NXT really feels hot right now.

Mark Henry confirmed he's retiring in 2016. He's had a really impressive run. I'm sure he'll be a great asset behind the scenes.

WWE now has pre-paid cards for the Network available at Walmart. I hope that helps them get more subscribers!

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Chris Jericho talked about his 25th anniversary in the business and more:
- I REALLY want to see Cowboy Chris Jericho when he returns. Like, full on Jimmy Wang Yang cowboy.

- I do think in a way there are still "territories" but not quite like it used to be.

- There is something to be said about being able to try things and fail on a small scale before making it to a level where virtually everyone with an internet connection can find your every botch, etc..

- He's right about characters needing to not be the same for years on end if they're going to stick around in 2015.

- Vince would like apes... There could be a whole Network series about Vince's quirks.

- I'd love to see a kayfabe re-enactment of the conversation between Vince and Jericho about Downfall.

- I actually really like Fandango/Johnny Curtis, but it did seem crazy to put him in there with Jericho at Mania considering what little they did with him afterward.

- Jericho vs. Ambrose isn't really exciting to me unless Y2J adds a new spin to his character.

ROH's Champions vs. All-Stars show will be headlined by Jay Lethal/Mike Bennett/Matt Taven vs. AJ Styles/Roderick Strong/ACH. Bllllaaahhhhhh.

WWE will announce its Q3 2015 financial information on October 29. Will they present stockholders with tricks or treats?

TNA's first showing this week got 335,000 viewers, while the second viewing brought in 112,000. That's quite the jump from last week! Maybe the World Title Series succeeded in getting people to check things out again.

ROH drew 175,000 viewers, which was also a good jump.

TNA's Oct. 2 show drew around 250 people. They got about 450 on Oct. 3, and 1,800 for Bound For Glory. That isn't terrible.

WWE is considering signing other contestants from this season's Tough Enough, basically confirming winning the show didn't mean much.

Kevin Owens vs. Ryback for the Intercontinental Championship is official for the HIAC PPV. No shock there. Owens is now more or less just another cog in the WWE machine. A very talented one, though.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It does seem silly, but WWE doesn't want them to be commenting on something the audience can't see! Imagine them spoiling someone doing a run-in several seconds before that person appears on screen. I think Vince and KD would tell them what to call from their own monitors in the back if the ones at ringside stopped working. This does bring up the question of what the announcers do when the announce tables are broken. I know wrestlers generally remove the monitors first.

2. I think Reigns will have to "earn his stripes" through busting his ass in the ring and sounding more natural with his promos. If WWE doesn't "shove him down our throats" as a main eventer, people might give him a chance to gradually make his way there.

3. That's existed in real life since forever!

4. More people know him as Bubba Ray Dudley than watched him as a top guy in TNA, so I disagree about him looking like a main eventer in the eyes of most fans. He's going back to the role he had before going to TNA, more or less. I'd like to see him work with guys like Cesaro and Owens, too, but they'd have to show fans he can swim with the sharks if they want him to be bought on the same level as Kane, Show, etc.. I'm not saying they couldn't do it, but they can't rely on people knowing him as Bully Ray in TNA.

5. They didn't have any TV taped for after BFG featuring Hardy as champ, so they went with this in order to utilize footage they already have in the can. It's part of the reality of the lack of money they have right now.

More wrestling tomorrow.
