TNA Bound For Glory Reax

Read on for my thoughts on last night's TNA PPV.

Why's this GFW guy getting a title match in his first night? TNA's obviously pretty desperate to fill in some spots tonight.

Oh, he's local. That makes some sense at least.

- Uno vs. Manik vs. Everett vs. DJ Z:
Yep, this is our flippy shit match of the night. Could some of these people go to ROH in 2016?

HOLY. FUCKING. SHIT. That was one of the most impressive moves I've ever seen. Props to Everett.

Sorry, Tigre Uno. No splash is topping what Everett did.

Not an awful match. Uno's a fairly bland champion, but he can do flippy shit and that's all that matters.

I liked the post-match. I wouldn't mind Helms stepping into the ring if he can still go. The X-Division could use something to give it a new twist.

I love EC3. I hope he's a staple of pro wrestling for a while.

- Bound For Gold Gauntlet Match:
Wow. They're pulling out all the crazy stops tonight. Hey, might as well have fun on the show.

Damn. Drake lost to Al Snow in 2015. I love Snow and think he's really underrated as a worker and as someone with a mind for the business, but Drake's momentum has really taken a hit.

I think Shera has a good chance of winning.

Well, that was something! Shera's definitely different from the other competitors here.

I like Tyrus for the most part, just as a big beast destroying people.

Who's next? Simon Diamond!?

LMAO. This match is crazy.

Fun stuff with Dinero. I wish he was wrestling regularly.

Why WOULDN'T you challenge for the TNA Title?

Not bad at all. Tyrus was a good pick.

I want more teasing of what Tyrus will do with his title shot, given his employment by EC3.

- Wolves vs. Lee/Myers:
I'm liking the traditional tag team strategies early on.

This is pretty good. I expected nonstop spots and suicide dives.

Unnecessarily complex ending, but more restrained than those two usually are. No major complaints.

That was a pretty strong promo from Galloway. Should be one hell of a fight.

- Roode vs. Lashley:
Really solid wrestling early.

They got me with the "Bobby" chant.

Lashley has really improved since his WWE days, and Roode can put on a clinic. I really hope we see Alcohol Currency in NXT/WWE in 2016.

Great match! Just pure wrestling.

Strong promo from Matt, too. This feels like a big night. Not "TNA's Wrestlemania" big, but big.

Cool stuff with Hebner and Corgan.

- Kim vs. Kong:
Cool to see Irvine at ringside.

These two always work well together.

Kong vs. Irvine? I think she could take him, and he doesn't look like a pushover.

NICE involvement from Irvine overall given what it led to.

Quite the match overall! Nice show tonight.

The main event feels about as big as it can. I expect them to do awesome stuff.

- Angle vs. EY:
Good stuff to get people into it early. This should be a war.

BAH GAWD THAT KILLED HIM.

Hey look, we did get to see Simon Diamond! I'm out of backstage cameos to suggest since D'Lo's not there anymore.

This is pretty evil from Young. Heavy stuff.

Angle's going all out!

Angle's determined to leave his body in the ring. His break from wrestling probably can't come soon enough from a health perspective.

Really solid match/segment. Angle is unreal.

Nice stuff between EC3 and Tyrus. That should be a fun feud given their history.

- EC3 vs. Matt Hardy vs. Galloway:
Funny for the faces to team up since they both hate Carter.

Galloway is busting his ass as always.

EC3 taking the ref out in a dastardly way was great. He's an awesome heel.

BASED EC3!!! Can he just be World Champ forever?

This has really been a solid match on top of a really top-notch PPV.

Damn! This is intense, and all of them want the title.

Hilarious of Carter to go for the low blow.

Good main event. Big win for Matt! It will be interesting to see what this leads to.

Really great stuff with Matt's celebration. Big moment for NC.

I love EC3. Can't wait to see more!!

More wrestling coming up.
