Interview with Blanchard, Former Women's Champion gets backstage gig in WWE, more on Snuka, how TNA will declare a new World Champ, Takeover notes including former World Champ backstage, and Questions on NXT shaking things up, improving ratings, relying on Brock, talent then vs. now, and WWE reading dirtsheets

Tully Blanchard talked about the Horsemen and more. The heel/babyface dynamic is really missing in some matches these days. Everyone's trying to get in all their best moves at the expense of taking the audience on a journey.

Lita is now working as a producer for the main roster. That's great! I hope she passes on some great tips to the current performers.

Jimmy Snuka is recovering after recent stomach surgery, but still might need to undergo chemotherapy. I wonder at this point what they'll really do from a legal standpoint given his ailing health.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

TNA announced a "World Title Series" to declare their next champion. The series will utilize matches already taped to get them through the next few weeks of TV. I'm guessing new content will be taped at their live events later this month to keep the series going.

James Storm was backstage at Takeover: Respect. I really hope he debuts at Takeover:London. Talented guy who can really add to the product.

Before Takeover went on the air, Bull Dempsey beat Sawyer Fulton. I hope Bull's doing well.

The Four Horsewomen hugged after the main event of Takeover. Pretty cool.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I'm under the impression Vince sees NXT almost as another promotion or alternative to what he's doing as opposed to competition driving him to improve what he does. He's under enough pressure to keep ratings up without NXT.

2. Give us reasons to care about the performers. If they're all going to lose to Cena or be cast aside in favor of Sting, Kane, Big Show, the Dudleys, the Bellas, etc., it's tougher to be invested in them. I think that's at the core of the problem: people want to move to 2015 and stop seeing who we saw in 2005 or earlier.

3. Brock and the other people who have been over for years already (see the list in the previous answer). Vince goes back to the well instead of doing more to make the new guys mean something.

4. I agree about things being overly scripted. I also think booking in the AE was such that you cared to see people on the card. Now too many people blend together and seem meaningless. People having more personality and not just relying on their cool moves would be great. Some of that's on the talent, but Creative should get blame, too.

5. Considering Vince books for a MUCH bigger audience than people who read dirtsheets, I can't say I blame him too much.

More wrestling tomorrow.
