Another WWE injury, ROH TV taping note, more on Rollins, Rock-WM32 update, Dreamer note, Interview with new WWE announcer, more on Foley's criticism of WWE, Raw audience, Regal heads back home, more Slammy candidates, Payback 2016 details, Total Divas vs. TNA, new WWE trademark?, Former WWE staff member passes, note on earlier seasons of NXT, and Questions on Joe vs. Lesnar, Charlotte as a heel, Trump in the HoF, 2015 WWE as the end of WCW, and Breaking Ground

King Barrett has suffered an injury, believed to be related to his arm or shoulder. I don't remember the last time this many competitors were on the shelf. It might be time to reach out to some former stars to fill some gaps, like they've done with Rhyno and Dreamer.

Update: Barrett is rehabbing nerve damage in his neck. He'll likely stay out of physical roles for a while.

Added to the TV taping following Final Battle:
- Adam Cole vs. Michael Elgin
- Moose vs. Jay Lethal vs. Dalton Castle vs. Matt Sydal
- Adam Page vs. Mark Briscoe

ROH Final Battle will be available on the Flipps app and Playstation Network, as well as plenty of illegal streams.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
Seth Rollins went back to Birmingham, Alabama to follow up on his knee surgery. Hopefully he got good news.

The Rock will be filming "Baywatch" around the time of WM32, so he might not be in Dallas for that event. WWE definitely wants him at that show. They're really, really hoping to fill the stadium.

Tommy Dreamer gave an update after his bouts with the Wyatt Family. Both matches were really enjoyable. It was good to see the hardcore spirit alive again.

Update: Tommy Dreamer was backstage at Smackdown.

New Smackdown lead announcer Mauro Ranallo talked about taking that job. WWE wants Smackdown to be a bigger deal with the move to USA. Ranallo seems like a really good signing given his experience and enthusiasm for the product.

Mick Foley responded to Ric Flair's criticism of Foley's remarks about WWE Creative. That was a really classy response. Good move from Mick.

Raw's audience Monday night was 3.89 million. Hopefully some of them stick around in the weeks leading up to the Rumble.

William Regal returned to the U.S. before Takeover:London, due to fallout from his recent neck surgery. I'm surprised he was able to fly at all so closely after surgery.

WWE has expanded nominees for Slammy Awards. I hope they don't have any painful celebrity guest hosts this time. Or painful announcer guest hosts.

Payback 2016 will be held on May 22 in New Jersey.

The next season of "Total Divas" will run head-to-head with Impact Wrestling. I wouldn't think there would be a lot of overlap in the audience between those two shows, but it'll be interesting to see if that affects either show.

Ryback is looking to trademark "The Big Guy." I'm not sure how successful he'll be in that endeavor. I wonder if WWE will try to beat him to the punch so he wouldn't be able to wrestle as "The Big Guy Ryan Reeves" or something on the indie scene if he leaves WWE.

Former WWE Head of Security Jim Dotson passed away recently. That's really sad to hear.

All NXT episodes from before January 2014 have been pulled from Hulu Plus. It's possible WWE puts them on the Network soon, but they might not be a priority. The earlier iteration had its really good moments and its "so-bad-they-were-really-good" moments. Season 3 and the second half of Season 5 were a lot of fun because it was clear they were just left to their own devices to do pretty much whatever they wanted.

For my take on yesterday's PWinsider.com questions:
1. I think it could be really great, but I only see it happening in WWE 2K16. I don't really see WWE taking that big of a chance on a 36-year-old Joe with Vince in charge. I'd love to see it too, but I don't think we will.

2. Becky Lynch. Charlotte's something of a tweener I suppose. I think we were supposed to pull for Charlotte to resist the urge to cheat.

3. Donald Trump is an incredibly popular presidential candidate at this point. He still has a lot of support, so I guess Vince and co. are still sticking by him. Unless they face some serious pressure, I don't know if they'll remove him from the Hall. After all, he's just in the celebrity wing and not as associated with WWE as Hogan and Snuka are. I do think it'd be a big move to stand up against the things he's said, but obviously Vince and Trump are pretty tight.

4. People compare modern WWE to dying WCW all the time actually. It's usually hyperbolic, but with the ratings slipping lately, it sounds more true. As for the DVDs, the audience who would buy Punk and Bryan DVDs eat that kind of thing up, so it actually helps appeal to those fans.

5. I've seen more than enough reality shows to get caught up in another one. I'm a big fan of NXT, though, and I hope it makes that brand more successful.

More wrestling tomorrow.
