WWE + ROH live event notes, Interviews with Bayley/Charlotte, JR Twitter hoax, and Questions on Dreamer-WWE, Bryan returning, caning Dewey, Nia Jax, and the fall of Rusev

Kevin Owens is back on the road for WWE following his illness. I hope he's doing something good at TLC. He should do well in the Rumble, too.

Bayley talked about the upcoming UK tour for NXT. I definitely think she'll be on the main roster in 2016.

Charlotte talked where her career is now and more. I hope she has a lot of success.

Jim Ross' Twitter account was hacked recently, leading to rumors of his demise. JR is still alive and well. Thank goodness.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
At this weekend's WWE live events:
- Damien Sandow and Curtis Axel were both used as themselves in separate matches. They're kind of filling space on live events at this point. Sometimes that's needed, but it doesn't do a whole lot to bring their careers forward.

- Los Matadores (without El Torito) teamed with Heath Slater. No word on any bigger plans for Diego and Fernando. I think they might best be used as goons for a more important heel. Del Rio would have been my choice if he wasn't part of LoN now. Of course, in this scenario they'd drop the Matadores gimmick for something more serious.

- Bayley teamed with Becky Lynch to beat Sasha and Naomi. I think she was more prepared for the main roster than Becky was, but she deserves a more important role than Becky has at the moment.

- On the other set of WWE live events, Goldust beat Stardust and the Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and NXT's Mojo Rawley) beat Bo Dallas and Adam Rose. So, it looks like Goldust is picking up where he left off. How much he has left in the tank is anyone's guess, but it's good to have him while he's still able to have good-to-great matches. As for Rawley, I think it's way too early to talk about bringing him up unless they want a team of face jobbers to replace Los Matadores. Enzo and Cass are the next face team to bring up and push.

At an ROH live event this weekend:
- Colby Corino and Shaheem Ali beat Aaron Solo and Martin Stone. Stone is former NXT name Danny Burch. It will be interesting to see if he does anything there.

- Tim Hughes lost to Kyle O'Reilly.

- War Machine beat Leo Brien and Mike Patrick

- Roderick Strong beat ROH booker Delirious in a TV Title match.

- ReDRagon beat ACH and Alex Shelley.

Some of those additional names could just be local jobbers, but it's interesting to see Delirious and Shelley working as wrestlers there. I'd think Shelley would fit right in with ROH if he wanted to work there.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think it's just something for TLC/Rumble season. The Dudleys being in a tables match at the PPV made sense, and they're building off that by giving them some partners to take on the Wyatts. I don't see it being a long-term plan to get whatever's left from the nostalgia of ECW.

2. I agree with Dave's argument. They definitely don't want Bryan competing with Reigns as the top face. Adding him as a bonus attraction somewhat late in the game would be a better move for WM32.

3. Given the segment we got about JR's colonoscopy, I wouldn't totally see it as being out of the question. I personally think it'd be funnier to introduce the new writer's assistant in a backstage segment where someone's being welcomed to the crazy environment of what WWE's like behind-the-scenes. HHH or someone can be introducing a guest star to people backstage, and we see the younger Foley in a red and black mask raising his arms and dropping them to get something to spontaneously burst into flames. When the guest asks who the new employee is, HHH would reply "Kane Dewey." Not a lot of fans would get it, but those who did would appreciate the reference.

4. She's still very new. I think she could be a lot of fun as a monster heel in the Divas division, but we're still seeing her first steps as a potential superstar

5. I think it was inevitable for him to split from Lana after she cost him a number of big matches. Him ending up with Summer Rae and molding her into Lana 2.0 was pretty evil of him. There was talk of it being due to heat Rusev and Lana had for their real-life relationship breaking kayfabe or something, for what that's worth. I think a lot of characters are inherently cooled off as new characters take their places, and it's hard to get them heated back up.

More wrestling tomorrow.
