Network-Japan update, new match for Final Battle, future ROH guests, WM32 gets perks, ECW-Network update, Interviews with Bryan/Ryan, more on ESPN Flair doc, Smackdown audience, Regal returns, Stardust working on Dusty project, and Questions on Bryan not getting cleared, Bishop's release, Ghostbusters, WWE's hierarchy, and commentary

WWE is launching in Japan on Jan. 5. That's a big market for them. I wonder how long it will be before it launches in other languages.

Dalton Castle vs. Silas Young has been added to Final Battle. This has definitely been one of the top three angles ROH has done since I started watching in June. Whitmer vs. Corino is its main competition, although Cole vs. O'Reilly gets an honorable mention.

Final Battle will also be available on Playstation Network.

At the next ROH taping, Deonna Purrazo and Hania the Huntress will face Mandy Leon and Sumie Sakai. Deonna recently worked for NXT as a victim of Asuka.

Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows of the Bullet Club will be working for ROH in March. It's impressive they're being booked three months out.

Everything else from Friday is after the break.
WWE is getting up to $2.7 million in tax incentives for WrestleMania 32. Needless to say, some Texan taxpayers aren't too pleased about that.

Joey Styles addressed why there isn't more ECW content on the Network. WWE does NOT want to get sued for using unlicensed music, and it's definitely more cost-effective to edit out the old stuff. It's not the "Wild Wild West" of the '90s where ECW could get away with that kind of thing. Enjoy what you can still get of those days, because they're not coming back.

Daniel Bryan discussed how his ringwork will and won't change with a return and more"
- Bryan vs. Owens would really be good. Especially with Owens targeting the neck.

- He should focus on submissions and kicks and that kind of thing. No dives, for the sake of his health.

- Brock vs. Bryan could be absolutely AMAZING.

- Bryan could definitely contribute in other roles than being an active wrestler. There'd always be a question of whether he'd get back in the ring if he was on TV a lot, though.

ESPN is interviewing a lot of wrestling personalities for a Ric Flair documentary. I look forward to it!

Joey Ryan talked about a recent spot he did in Japan that's gotten online attention. I found the spot hilarious. It's probably wise not to listen too much to Cornette about wrestling these days. He's stuck in a mindset from decades ago. Ignore it and move on.

Smackdown's audience this past Thursday was 2.13 million. The move to USA can't come soon ehough for them.

William Regal appeared at a recent NXT live event in the UK after recovering from his recent surgery. He's been invaluable for his work with young talent. I hope he's a future HoFer for his career inside and outside the ring.

Stardust teased a project centered around Dusty Rhodes. It's speculated this would be a sequel to his 2005 autobiography. That should be a really good project given all Dusty did in his career.

For my take on Friday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. That would be a crazy level of pettiness from Vince. Considering how hard Vince pushed Punk despite them not seeing eye-to-eye, I don't think he'd intentionally keep one of his top talents on the shelf. By making a doctor lie no less!

2. I don't think it makes much difference for him; he's moving on from WWE and presumably isn't worried about whether he can come back.

3. That would have been great in 1985. In 2015? I think it'd be too hokey to work in a major promotion.

4. Vince is the head of everyone, so he can overrule anything.

5. I could see those two complementing each other really well.

More wrestling coming up.
