UK legend at Takeover, Interview with Balor, title match set for live Smackdown, more on new Vegas promotion, what happened after Takeover, TNA-Pop update, and Questions on Bryan taking a student, how the NWA worked, why Reigns has supporters, and Charlotte's heel turn

The UK's Johnny Saint was at Takeover:London, leading to speculation he'll work with NXT going forward. The brand is obviously getting a lot of international attention with some of the signings and guests they've had.

Finn Balor talked about leaving NJPW for NXT. I think he's been a really good addition, and he has a bright future in NXT and WWE. I hope we see big things from him and some of NXT's other big international/indie signings.

Next week's live edition of Smackdown will feature New Day defending the WWE Tag Team Championship against the Lucha Dragons. That should be pretty good.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Classic Wrestling Revolution put out a sneak peak. I like some of what we saw here.

After Takeover:London, in a match that may or may not appear on TV, Sami Zayn beat Tye Dillinger. I hope Zayn does great things in 2016 and beyond.

Pop TV, the new home of Impact Wrestling as of Jan. 5, will be added to Cablevision on Jan. 15. So, Cablevision viewers will be bale to catch things from the third episode on.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think that would be a great way to use Hideo Itami, since he was a big influence on Bryan's style. If they can't have Bryan take bumps anymore, that's probably the best alternative. They'd have to make it clear Itami isn't "copying" Bryan's style, just adjusting his own style to the WWE like Bryan had to.

2. The actual World Champion only came to a specific town at certain points, since he had a lot of other regional territories he was also touring for NWA. So, for shows where the World Champ was elsewhere, each local territory had their own champion in the main event slot. It'd be like if Roman Reigns was wrestling for "WWE Midwest" with their local wrestlers while "WWE Mid-Atlantic" had the talents from that area competing.

Nothing to add to 3. It's already been asked and answered.

4. Pretty much what they said. "Workrate" as it's popularly used isn't everything. I do think Reigns feels more like a top guy than, say, Cesaro. Now, a lot of times someone won't really look like a top guy until they're actually given that shot, so that's not to say other stars wouldn't work in that role. I also enjoy guys like Ambrose and Ziggler, and I could probably get behind them as top faces, but that doesn't mean I'll boo Reigns. He has done some really dreadful promos, but he's following Cena and Face Sheamus in that tradition. He doesn't have a lot of control over his verbiage.

5. IF the plan is to build heel Charlotte to defend the title against babyface Sasha Banks at WM32, I can get behind it if the follow-through is good. But yes, it has been a bad month for Charlotte's booking.

More wrestling tomorrow.
