Stone Cold podcast Reax, What happened after TLC, NXT guests, Raw promotion, Smackdown announcer change official, Tribute press, new big town for NXT show, another American name to LU, Slammys voting begins, more on new WWE announcer, what happened after Raw, and Questions on assigning wrestlers to Creative members, using NXT callups, Sting vs. Taker, comedy guys getting pushed, and lewd chants

Stone Cold podcast:
- HBK getting to be with his family now is a real plus after such a long and illustrious career on the road.

- Pretty heavy stuff about Shawn's son.

- HBK vs. Flair was something really, really special.

- Damn. Shawn really sticking it to Bret there.

- Funny to see where HHH is now given all the heat he had after the Curtain Call.

- HHH is definitely poised to do great things behind-the-scenes.

- Cool to see what Shawn thinks of today's talents.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
After TLC went off the air, HHH sold the beatdown from Roman Reigns. He was put on a stretcher and carried out of the arena. That was good for putting Roman over.

Update: Triple H was said to have been kept overnight in the hospital after TLC. It's unknown as of this writing if that's kayfabe or not.

Update: Sheamus showed off the aftermath of the main event of TLC. He survived an absolute war.

William Regal and Robbie Brookside made special appearances at an NXT live event in Blackpool, England. I'm glad NXT is doing well there. I wonder what their next international destination will be. Japan?
Sgt. Slaughter was at the Army-Navy game this weekend to promote Raw. That's pretty cool.
WWE officially announced the announcer change for Smackdown in 2016. It's an exciting move.

WWE also officially announced the promotion for Tribute to the Troops. As always, it's a really big show for WWE.

NXT will have its first live event in Chicago on Jan. 16, and hits Pittsburgh on Jan. 29. There are plans for a lot of touring for NXT in 2016.

Update: NXT is doing a full tour of the Midwest in January, with three shows one week and two shows at the end of the month. A few shows will be going on at the same time as some other NXT live events in Florida. It's expected the top names on TV will work in the Midwest, while a lot of talents who are still training in the WWEPC will do the shows local to Orlando.

Joey Ryan has been signed for Season 2 of Lucha Underground. It'll be interesting to see how he fits in there.

Voting for the Slammy Awards has begun. WWE's really pushing social media this time around.

New WWE announcer Mauro Ranallo was backstage at Raw. He's got a lot on his plate with all those commitments in 2016.

After Raw, The Usos and Dean Ambrose celebrated with the new WWE Champion. Reigns took the mic and said the crowd's reaction to him at the Rumble in January is what inspired him to work so hard. He then wished his daughter happy birthday and celebrated with the fans. I think the people still booing him at this point are probably going to continue to boo him because it's the "rebellious" thing to do. Fashionable nonconformity is pretty common these days.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I like parts of that idea, as far as certain talents being "assigned" to writers so they don't fall through the cracks. As was said, though, as long as the same person's in charge, it won't account for much.

2. I think people have really unrealistic expectations for NXT callups. Not everyone's called up to be the next big star of their division. There are needs for undercard and midcard performers, too.

3. I think there's not a big chance of that happening. We'll have to see what happens with Sting's surgery first. After that, how much interest will there still be for the two of them facing off? I'm assuming WM32 is out of the question for it happening.

4. Eric Young has finally come around as a serious heel. His previous title reign was really forced, and he does have a long history as a comedy figure, but his work in 2015 has generally been impressive. I don't think it'd be a stretch for him to be the next TNA Champion. Edge and Christian were comedy guys to some extent who ended up winning a lot of titles. I don't think the New Day gimmick will totally shoot down any chance of a talent being taken seriously down the line, as long as they don't get pigeonholed in those roles like Santino did.

5. I doubt the WWE higher-ups know much of anything about "the rap music" the kids listen to, and they can't really police the crowd's reactions

More wrestling tomorrow.
