Crowe/Callihan update, more on Reigns as champ, ESPN-WWE update, TNA audience, unexpected run-in, TNA moving to Pop early, and Questions on Reigns not signing a new deal, who wins the Rumble, Stampede on the Network, and improving ratings

Sami Callihan, formerly Solomon Crowe in NXT, is returning to EVOLVE in Orlando next month. I hope he has a solid next leg of his career. There's nothing to say he won't end up back in WWE or another major promotion at some point.

Roman Reigns winning the WWE Championship (and leaving the arena without losing it) was picked up by the Minnesota Vikings. Imagine only holding the Heisman for five minutes and fifteen seconds.

ESPN stated on the record they're not being paid by WWE to cover the company. There was nothing to suggest that was the case, but I hope it's cleared up now.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

TNA drew 155,000 viewers in its lone airing on DA this week. There will be no further showings of TNA on the network.

A dog did multiple run-ins in a lucha match this weekend. I really hope someone rips this off at Final Battle.

TNA will air two "Best of 2015" episodes during the next two weeks on Pop TV, in the timeslot they'll begin airing new episodes on Jan. 5. These shows were going to air on DA, but are now set for TNA's new TV home. That might work better as far as getting fans accustomed to watching on the new channel.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. The Authority's really sticking it to him if that's the case. No, there's nothing to him not signing a new contract. There's no new contract for him to sign! He's still got a lot of time on his existing deal.

2. Exactly what they said. Brock taking the Rumble to Suplex City and giving us a rematch from WM31 sounds pretty intriguing.

3. Legally they had to have his permission to use that footage.

4. I hate how this is worded. We see what Vince thinks will work: putting the title on Reigns and putting himself back on TV. As for me? I think a big problem with a lot of stars is they're not presented as if they matter as much as they should. Everyone eventually becomes just another part of the show instead of an exciting addition that can really shake things up. They need more consistent booking and long-term planning.

More wrestling tomorrow.
