Former NXT Champion added to UK shows, former TNA champ under the knife, ROH wrestler at WWEPC, son of HoFer working on Creative, Crowe/Callihan update, Show note, Styles update, Raw audience, where's Owens?, Cean update, and Questions on WWE focus groups, Charlotte saying no, not pushing Cesaro, putting the title on Sheamus, and Foley speaking out

Neville will be working for NXT for some of their shows in the UK. That's a good use for him!

The former Magnus underwent surgery on a torn biceps tendon. I hope he recovers soon. I think he could be great in NXT.

ROH/NJPW name Rocky Romero was recently a guest trainer at the WWEPC. That's interesting considering he infrequently works with ROH. I wonder if that's leading to anything between the two sides or if it was just a special occasion.

Dewey Foley is getting a run as a writer's assistant for WWE starting next month. He's starting at the bottom, but it will be interesting to see if he makes his mark in Creative in the years to come.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
The former Solomon Crowe requested his release from NXT in order to get a fresh start on the indie scene as Sami Callihan. I think that was the right move considering he wasn't getting much of anywhere in NXT. I hope we haven't seen the last of him in "the big leagues."

Big Show is scheduled for this weekend's WWE live events. He hasn't been on the road as much lately. He deserves time off given how many bumps he's taken over the years.

NJPW has indicated AJ Styles will be cleared in time to work more of the currently ongoing World Tag League. That would seem to mean he'll be good for Final Battle.

Raw this week was up to 3.17 million. That's still a bad number. USA Network needs to call Vince in for a performance review.

Kevin Owens missed WWE TV this week due to illness. I was hoping he'd become part of League of Nations. There's still time once he's 100%.

John Cena isn't expected to return until the Dec. 26 WWE live event. Until recently, he was advertised for live events the previous weekend.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I don't know if it would make any difference. Vince is going to do what he thinks is best. He's definitely not going to take ideas from the IWC and "those damn millennials."

2. Dave nailed it here. Talents don't want to be seen as difficult to work with, especially when they're new. Charlotte was in-between a rock and a hard place there.

3. Pretty much what they said. Vince presumably sees it as a cult thing. Unless Cesaro really moves merch like someone like Reigns does, he'll probably continue to do see Reigns as the guy who will make them more money. It's something of a self-fulfilling prophecy when they make more Reigns shirts and push him harder, but it supports the idea that Reigns is the right guy.

4. As was said, they need to build some top babyfaces. With Rollins out, they also need new heels to be pushed. So, they're setting up Sheamus as the new big bad guy that Reigns will have to beat. The goal is to make them both more important in the process.

5. Foley's already left WWE in the past to work with TNA and ROH. It's not like it's any surprise he's not a "true believer" in Vince's ideas. Vince isn't going to change until he has to.

More wrestling tomorrow.
