Injury at Final Battle, more on Jan. 4 NJPW show, more markets for ROH, ROH TV preview, Ryan earns a sponsorship, another big NXT sellout, new WWE signing, and Questions on Final Battle vs. Star Wars, HHH at Takeover, Continental Championship Wrestling, and Austin-WM32

Matt Taven suffered a knee injury during Final Battle, leading to the tag team title match being cut down about five minutes. No word on if he'll miss any further time.

AJ Styles was icing his neck after the PPV, but isn't believed to have hurt himself worse. Before the show, he was expected to take time off until the big Jan. 4 show in Japan. I imagine he's still set to work that.

The Briscoes will be working the Jan. 4 Tokyo Dome show. ROH will be a big part of that show.

ROH will return to Philly in March. It's a big market for them.

ROH is considering running Boston in 2016. I hope that works out for them.

I'm never really a fan of thrown-together four-way matches, but I guess that will show off a lot of moves...

Joey Ryan's recent genital-themed move earned him a sponsorship from a pornography website. He will wear YouPorn-themed attire at future events, and that move is now known as the YouPorn Plex. That's one of the most hilarious things I've read in some time. This probably kills any chance of him ever going to WWE, but good for him for making the most of his character.

Takeover: Dallas sold out in fifteen minutes! That could be their biggest show to date, which is really saying something after London.

WWE has signed Jerome Turner to the WWEPC. I can't really find anything on him beyond that, but I wish him well.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think it could have an effect, but it's not like people can't watch the movie or PPV on a different night. Or even during the day.

2. Takeover:London was a really big show for NXT, so he showed up to support his brand. I also wish he would have kept kayfabe and at least shown up with a cast or something, but I can't blame him for showing up and taking the glory!

3. I'm not familiar with any DVDs from the promotion.

5. Basically what they said. Mania is in Texas; you've got to have the Texas Rattlesnake there. I just don't see him getting in the ring beyond giving someone a stunner and throwing a beer bash.
