Rey injured, WWE live event notes, more on Dreamer in WWE, Del Rio attacked by fan, Zayn to return soon, more on AJ Styles' injury, WWE removes some classic material, JR on Twitter hack, more on Miz/Neville, Interview with Big E, new WWE exec, and Questions on boycotting Raw, ROH's new TV home, preventing injuries, Joe vs. Ciampa, and the Divas' Revolution

Rey Mysterio missed a match at AAA due to a knee injury. He was walking around with a crutch, but still hit the 619 in a segment setting up the match that took place afterward. No word on how long he'll miss. His knees have been giving him problems for years now.

The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and NXT's Mojo Rawley) once more teamed on the main roster at a live event on Sunday, beating Stardust and Adam Rose again. I'd be a little surprised to see Mojo brought to the main roster at this point, unless he's just an undercard tag team name they're not planning on pushing.

On the other set of live events this weekend, Bayley teamed with Becky Lynch again to beat Sasha and Naomi. I'll be surprised if Bayley's not called up in 2016. She could be an important player in the Divas' division.

Tommy Dreamer confirmed House of Hardcore will continue in 2016. So, it's very doubtful he'll be working with WWE with any regularity.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
A fan attacked Alberto Del Rio in Puerto Rico during a match he was having down there. This show was a commitment made by Alberto before signing back to WWE. Thank goodness it was broken up quickly and no one got seriously hurt.

Sami Zayn will return to the ring at an NXT live event the night before Takeover in London. I wonder if he'll be part of the WWE Network special itself. Either way, I'm glad he's back. He's a really great athlete.

AJ Styles was sent home from the NJPW tour due to his injury. He's still expected to work Final Battle and the Jan. 4 Tokyo Dome show, but will likely take time off between those dates. This is unfortunate timing for him, but I hope he still does good things at those events.

WWE removed material from Stampede Wrestling from the Network, likely due to rights issues. While the company owns the library as a whole, Bret Hart has the rights to certain matches he's in and they would have to license those matches from him specifically. Hopefully it all gets sorted out soon.

Jim Ross addressed being hacked on his blog. I can only imagine the heartbreak caused for people close to him who "fell for" the hacking. That was really cruel and evil.

WWE will continue the Miz/Neville "makeover" angle on Smackdown. I'm guessing it will set up a match at TLC or the Kickoff show. That would make it more worthwhile.

Big E talked about the run New Day is on:

- I'm glad they found something to make them stand out after they kind of floundered around as individuals. I hope more directionless stars do the same.

- Big E definitely stands out from other big guys with his humor.

WWE has signed a new EVP of Global Sales and Partnerships. That's a pretty important position.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Ratings would have to regularly be low enough to where NBCU compels Vince to act. It all comes down to if they and advertisers think they're getting their money's worth in investing in WWE. Right now, NBCU is still really in WWE's corner, because WWE's shows are still doing a lot better than a lot of other TV shows. And really, if NBCU does get involved, their solutions might be along the lines of "use the part-timers and guest stars more," "more McMahon drama," and that kind of thing. NBCU are TV people, not wrestling people. They're probably not going to tell Vince to do what NXT is doing and let HHH book.

2. As was said, they're on Comet now. I guess it wasn't advertised enough. Curiously, there hasn't been any info of what kind of audience they drew on Comet. Not sure what to make of that. Maybe Comet is too new for it to have any attention paid to it by Nielsen.

3. That's a good point! Obviously it's too late to change things now. We'll see how "hardcore" things get on Sunday.

4. Joe vs. Ciampa was definitely good! I think the powers that be in TNA have often been focused on people who were already draws elsewhere at the expense of emerging talents. I don't think it would be wrong to say they've been overly concerned with trying to be a big competitor to WWE instead of building themselves up as a mid-level promotion first.

5. I think the Divas' Revolution refers to a change from how things were after the likes of Trish and Lita were gone and we got people like Kelly Kelly in big roles based on looks instead of wrestling experience. It's a revolution from the Johnny Ace hires to the NXT generation. Personally, I think the revolution started more with AJ becoming a big part of things. She was kind of a pioneer that set things in motion for people like Paige to continue on.

More wrestling tomorrow.
