ROH names at Tokyo Dome show, NJPW name added to ROH anniversary, next YouShoot released, former WWE tag team champion injured, Angle to appear on popular show, Tribute audience, AWA legends at Raw, NXT to look back at 2015, and Questions on Sweet Zig Music, Slammy absences, changing ring names, wrestlers wearing gloves, and breaking Punk's record

ROH talents set for the Jan. 4 Tokyo Dome show:
- ROH World Champion Jay Lethal defending against Michael Elgin
- AJ Styles competing for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship
- KUSHIDA going for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship
- The Briscoes team with Toru Yano to go for the NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Titles
- reDRagon defend the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Titles against the Young Bucks, RPG Vice, and the team of Ricochet and Matt Sydal.

I expect more interaction between ROH and NJPW in 2016.

KUSHIDA will be part of ROH's 14th anniversary show. He's also been added to the TV taping after that. Again, ROH and NJPW are pretty tight. That will almost definitely continue to be the case going forward.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Vampiro is the subject of the latest YouShoot. Funny stuff, and at times pretty crazy. I appreciate him not caring about offending anyone in the business.

Former WWE superstar and NWA Champion Rob Conway recently had a bad injury to his hamstring. I hope he recovers soon, and gets back to what he loves doing.

Kurt Angle will appear on "Duck Dynasty" in their next season. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Cassidy Riley appeared on a previous season.

Tribute to the Troops drew 1.80 million viewers for USA. That's not bad.

Greg Gagne, Jim Brunzell, and Eddie Sharkey visited at Raw in the heart of AWA territory.

Next week's NXT will be part of a Best of 2015 special. The brand did a lot in this past year!!

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Ziggler's obviously a fan of HBK. I think at this point Management and Ziggler agree to disagree because he continues to make money for them and it's not like he's going to go get big money from a company like TNA. So, neither side really fights anything.

2. Of course, recording things with the winners in advance would require them to come up with the categories even further in advance.

3. I doubt WWE will care unless it actually ends up causing confusion "in the marketplace," where people think WWE's star is playing football or the football player is working for WWE. I wouldn't expect that confusion to happen enough for it to be an issue.

Nothing to add to 4.

5. Oh dear God. I hope they don't plan on doing that with Roman unless they're REALLY committed to him as their next Cena and he shows he can fill that role. I don't think they're THAT petty unless they already planned on giving someone a long run with the title and it wouldn't be much of an extension. After all, Punk's not the longest-reigning champion ever, just of the past 25 years.

More wrestling tomorrow.
