Main Event note, AWA announcer passes away, what happened after Raw, TNA promotes during Raw, HoFer's daughter a Rosebud, Charlotte notes, more Network content, final TLC lineup, Tribute photos, Slammys voting note, Interviews with Otunga/JR, Raw audience, HoFers booked for events, and Questions on unionizing wrestlers, hitting WWE where it hurts, the 30-day title rule, Rollins cashing in, and Luke Harper

This week's Main Event was a recap show ahead of TLC, since WWE taped a Tribute to the Troops special ahead of Smackdown. No matches were taped.

Famed AWA announcer Rodger Kent passed away at the age of 90 due to complications from pneumonia. He passed away on Nov. 28, but I'm guessing this was lost due to the other big story of the time. I hope he's set for the WWE Hall of Fame at some point.

Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt brawled with a kendo stick after Raw. Not an actual match, just a dark segment. I'm sure they'll pull out all the stops at the PPV.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

TNA took out local ads for the NYC tapings during Raw. In them, Taz did a voiceover promoting them as televised events. TNA will likely tape about six weeks worth of stuff then, and another six weeks worth when they're in the UK. I can't blame them. They've got to be economical. Advertising the tapings during Raw was a pricy, but hopefully effective move.

Tessa Blanchard, daughter of Tully, was a Rosebud at Raw. Cool cameo. Naturally there's speculation on seeing her as a wrestler at some point, but as far as I know, that's not in the works.

NXT's Charlotte was also booked for the Smackdown taping, but didn't appear. I think they missed an opportunity with how they used her.

Update: Triple H took a picture with her at Raw. I think she did fine for her first main roster match, but she's done much better work in NXT.

WWE has begun adding episodes of Tuesday Night Titans to the WWE Network. I hope people check that out.

The expected final lineup for this Sunday's TLC PPV is:
- Kickoff match: Goldust and Stardust vs. The New Day
- WWE Divas' Championship: Nikki Bella vs. AJ Lee
- WWE United States Championship: Rusev vs. Jack Swagger
- Ladder Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship: Luke Harper vs. Dolph Ziggler
- Chairs Match: Kane vs. Ryback
- Stairs Match: Big Show vs. Erick Rowan
- TLC Match: Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose
- Tables Match (John Cena loses his World Title match if he loses): John Cena vs. Seth Rollins

Pretty stacked lineup, honestly.

Here are photos from WWE's Tribute to the Troops. That's pretty cool.

Voting for Monday's Slammys Awards is said to have been legitimate. I don't doubt it, but I'm sure some do since "their" choice didn't win.

David Otunga did an interview where he touched on his WWE status. Honestly, I'd be surprised to see him return on a full-time basis as a wrestler at this point. He clearly has other priorities. It could happen down the line, but I wouldn't assume it's a given he'll do more matches.

Jim Ross promoted GFW's New Japan show. Sadly he has points about the current U.S. landscape. He also knows what a good booker does. I hope JR's used in a management position for the new promotion.

Raw's audience Monday night was 3.70 million, down a bit from the previous week. This is despite the incredibly fresh, exciting match of John Cena vs. Big Show headlining the show as well as the Slammys gimmick hosted by Seth Green. Make of that what you will.

Ric Flair will be at NXT Takeover: R Evolution. I hope his daughter has a great showing.

Hulk Hogan is booked for the Dec. 22 Raw. Will we see a recreation of "Santa With Muscles"?

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It doesn't sound like anything's going to change anytime soon. If Punk's interview isn't going to change things, I don't know what it's going to take. I'm curious to see if there will be anything big once Rey's free from his contract, but other than that, I don't know if there will be much of a fuss going forward.

2. I don't know what it's going to take unless there's a big protest movement. Unless WWE knows fans aren't supporting because of the issues Punk brought up, they won't take any action. Even then, it's going to take a BIG splash for them to change things. Look what it took for them to get the Wellness Policy started in the first place.

3. As was alluded to, it can easily be explained as a heel move by The Authority to not have Brock defend. Maybe it's in his contract or something, and the Board of Directors can't do anything even without HHH and Stephanie in power. Either way, Brock's status of defending the title isn't going to change. He'll probably defend at the Rumble and WrestleMania, but I'm not so sure about Fast Lane. After WM31, we'll probably have a new champion, and it will be a non-issue.

4. I wouldn't be shocked if Rollins cashed in either that night or the next one. It's also possible Ambrose beats Rollins for the briefcase and cashes in on Brock after Brock beats Reigns. Fantasy booking? Yes. But if fans push for it, it might happen.

5. I definitely think they've got a really special talent in Luke Harper. He can certainly be a big part of WWE if he's used effectively.

More wrestling tomorrow.
