Interviews with Foley/Riley/WWE seamstress, live event notes, HHH on "Wrestling Isn't Wrestling", and Questions on champs after Mania, WWE terminology, the Hall of Fame, the IWC, and Network numbers

Mick Foley talked about some assorted WM31 topics. I don't think the Mania lineup is lackluster. I just think we see so much wrestling in a week (especially including everything on the WWE Network including NXT, other promotions, etc.) it's incredibly difficult for a card to be what WrestleMania used to be. And because there are so many talented wrestlers to choose from, it's even more difficult to get behind Reigns. He doesn't just have to be good to win some fans over. He has to be better than Ambrose, Bryan, Rollins, and maybe even Attitude Era Stone Cold because fans' expectations are insane these days with all the content out there they can be watching instead.

On live events this weekend, Finn Balor beat Tyler Breeze while Sasha Banks was on the losing end of a six-Diva tag. It's great for those names to keep getting work. I don't think they'd be on the main roster shows if they weren't considered potential call-ups for 2015. I'm not sure they should do something like call Balor up on the post-WM31 Raw just for the surprise of it, but it's an interesting idea.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
Triple H endorsed Max Landis' look at his character. Landis is definitely a dedicated fan and has some pretty solid chops in his role. I liked it more on the second viewing. I don't think he'd ever strive in a corporate environment like WWE, but it'd be interesting to see him do more booking pitches like the one he did on The Shield.

Alex Riley talked about getting back in the ring. It's a shame he was politically blackballed. He's got some serious heart. As for Miz, I think the two of them were a perfect fit as a duo. I loved their pairing pretty much from Day One.

A Milwaukee Brewers player was at a recent WWE event, and met with John Cena. I wonder what he thinks of Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz?

WWE's seamstress was interviewed. That's a great story! She should go into the Hall of Fame some day!

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Possibly! Or for if he does stay but has another part-time schedule. It's a clever idea in some ways, I think. If Reigns wins the title, and two other top guys have the mid-level titles, it sets up an interesting scenario of who's "really" the face of WWE. I don't think they'd necessarily do a Reigns/Cena/Bryan feud with all three holding gold, but it's an interesting pitch.

2. Vince operates on Vince Logic. I don't have much to offer other than that!

3. I don't see any reason to bury the wrestlers going into the Hall by making tiers or whatever. I also think people who care THAT much about which wrestling characters are going into the WWE-selected Hall of Fame are jabronie marks working themselves into a shoot, brother. It's the "who WWE brass likes" Hall in many ways.

4. Speaking of jabronie marks working themselves into a shoot. Seriously, though, "IWC" is a distinct class of wrestling fans on the Internet. The people following wrestling spoilers and backstage gossip and all that and actually part of a community discussing that are what I consider the IWC. Little Jimmy watching John Cena on the Network who has no idea what ROH is? He's pretty much just a fan using the Internet. "IWC" is just a more modern and tech-specific version of smark.

5. WWE's smart to release numbers right after Mania, since that's when they'll be the highest. I definitely expect people to #CancelWWENetwork after that show.

More wrestling tomorrow.
