Uso update, another Raw guest, Raw fans asked to change clothes, battle royal update, NXT live event update, new WWE signings, Punk update, ode to wrestling fans, TNA name at Mania weekend, Raw audience, Reigns vs. detractors, and Questions on trainers in the HoF, the men who built MSG, Kerry Von Erich, Christian, Goldust, ROHaitch, Rusev, piracy, and Cena vs. Rock

Jey Uso isn't expected to be 100% by WrestleMania, but he could still be cleared for the show. Hopefully if it's a big tag team turmoil clustermess, he wouldn't have to do much. Honestly, I'm not against there being a big ending to the show with Roman and the Usos as champions. Obviously a lot of people will hate that one, though.

Bill Simmons of ESPN will be a guest commentator at Raw. Will Vince yell at him to talk about what's trending on Twitter, too? Simmons is great at what he does, and has written a number of awesome articles on wrestling at Grantland.

Update: Simmons talked about the appearance. You'd think JBL would be cool with someone with that last name.

A number of fans ringside at Raw dressed as various legends were asked to remove their costumes to avoid distractions to the viewer at home. Honestly, I can buy that argument (and it would hold up legally). I do think it sucks for the people who paid that much to sit front row, though. I don't know if WWE should have moved them somewhere else so they wouldn't be front-and-center or what. They're going to get heat for this no matter what.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Sheamus could be returning to win the Andre the Giant battle royal, but that's officially in the "speculation" bin instead of something necessarily in the works. I'd be surprised if he's not at WM31. It would make sense for him to feud with Henry going forward.

The NXT event on WM weekend has moved more than 4,200 tickets. That's pretty impressive!

The May 25 live event in the Nassau Colosseum is being advertised as the final show there due to upcoming renovations. WWE's had some big moments there.

WWE has come to terms to bring Uhaa Nation, Australia's Chris Atkins, and Canada's Jasmin Areebi. Nation still has some independent dates to fulfill before heading to WWE. Nation has been an anticipated signing for a while. I'm excited to see what he can bring to the table, as his resume is pretty solid. Areebi has some experience on the indie scene, while Atkins is a former bodybuilder. I wish them well, too.

C.M. Punk shot down a question about missing pro wrestling. Him getting back in a wrestling ring has a small chance of happening, but it's definitely not happening anytime soon.

Max Landis put together a 24-minute video on why he loves professional wrestling, following the character arc of Triple H in WWE. The amount of work that went into this and the amount of cameos is really, really impressive. The comedy wasn't exactly my taste a lot of times, but it's clear he really, really loves wrestling. I can respect that. The constant stream of cameos and inside jokes had me pausing and rewinding.

TNA's Manik will be working for EVOLVE over WrestleMania weekend. TNA names continue to get outside bookings. Who knows? Maybe he'll impress WWE and end up in NXT some day.

Raw's audience was 3.92 million two weeks from WrestleMania. The audience isn't exactly on fire going into the event.

WWE put together a video on the recent NXT live events. NXT's going places.

Roman Reigns talked to Rolling Stone, firing back at his critics:
- I hope he doesn't put TOO much focus on having a "five-star" match. That's what guys like Bryan and Ziggler are there for. He needs to go out there and bust his ass to show he can be a credible top guy.

- I definitely think the speculation about Brock has helped sell Mania and that match. I'm glad that speculation is helping make things interesting.

- I appreciated Reigns being able to clear the top rope, but he doesn't need to. Not everyone needs to be able to do cool flip dives and such. He needs to be the powerhouse.

- Reigns is definitely improving. He might not be ready for being the top guy yet, but I think he can get there. He doesn't need to be where Cena is now after WM31. He needs to be where Batista was at the end of WM21. I think he could be close enough to be considered a success.

- I liked Reigns firing back at the crowd on Raw. How are we to know if he's improving as a promo guy if people try to talk over his promos?

- I think Reigns has earned SOME of where he is now through hard work and such. Has he worked as hard or as long as Rollins, Ambrose, Bryan, etc.? No. But he can't go back in time and get an indie background. Not everyone needs to be an "indies guy" to be successful, anyway.

- I'm glad we're seeing more personality from Reigns. I hope that trend continues.

For my take on the first set of yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think that's a great idea! Training others definitely doesn't hurt one's chances of going in, as was true for Johnny Rodz or Stu Hart. I hope we see more in that vein.

2. That's a pretty good answer. I can't really argue about them both being worthy of "building MSG".

3. I think a lot of people have made that argument. It's possible.

4. I suspect WWE will just let his deal expire at this point, a la Rey Mysterio. I've been a fan of Christian pretty much since Day One, but it's clear Management has decided he won't be a franchise player. I wonder if we'll see him somewhere like TNA or ROH down the line?

5. Hopefully we get the conclusion to that feud at Extreme Rules, but I'm not holding my breath. Goldust randomly being in the Andre battle royal instead of continuing to face Stardust is disappointing, to say the least.

For my take on the second set of yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. As was said, his priorities were different then.

2. Not really anything to add here. Things are rarely as simple and easy as people want them to be.

3. Not at all. If Cena defeats Rusev soundly at WM31 and Rusev doesn't rebound (say, by beating Cena in the clincher at Extreme Rules or challenging for the WWE Title), then I'll say his momentum has been killed. And honestly, his momentum can't keep going forever. Eventually it will have run its course.

4. I do think we're at a point where suing people for piracy isn't going to work. If the odds were good people would be caught for piracy and fined heavily for it, that'd be one thing. But generally, it's a pretty low-risk endeavor. All that said, I absolutely think it's harmful to the industry for fans to pirate content. It's not about making Dreamer a billionaire who has three mansions and a yacht. It's about fairly compensating the workers who put something we love together.

5. In regard to that feud, Rock probably had a lot more leeway than Cena did. Cena was the one who was going to be sticking around as the face of the company and a big part of its family-friendly image. Rock didn't have those handcuffs (and WWE needed him more than he needed WWE), so he could cut a lot deeper.

More wrestling tomorrow.
