Potential TNA names, Wolves update, Interviews with Stone Cold/Henry, another big Mania entrance planned, Summerslam sells out, a WWE return, a cameo at NXT, and Questions on the Dudleys, title belts in WWE, announcing Flair, Sting in WWE, and TNA's Brittany

The former Hurricane and Homicide were in Orlando recently, leading to speculation they'll be in TNA in the near future. I'd like to see both of them if they can still contribute in a meaningful way.

In regards to Eddie Edwards being injured, TNA has stripped The Wolves of the tag team championships. I'm guessing we'll see The Revolution and The Hardys feud for them for a while.

Stone Cold Steve Austin talked about C.M. Punk, and some other cats he thinks would work out in MMA. The angle between the straight-edge "best in the world" Punk going against the beer-drinking legend writes itself. Hence all the fan pitches. I wonder how Bret Hart and Chris Benoit would have done in MMA. What about Tyson Kidd? Lance Storm? Some interesting hypotheticals to play with.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

WWE is seeking actors to play scarecrows during WM31, presumably for either Sting's entrance or Bray Wyatt's. I look forward to seeing Sting's entrance on the big stage.

WWE Summerslam sold out within a few hours. I'm curious as to what the main event will be for that show.

Brad Maddox returned to the ring at a recent WWE live event. I wouldn't mind him being a (limited) GM figure once the Authority angle finally comes to a close.

Mick Foley was a guest at a recent NXT live show. It's a shame he wasn't and isn't in the shape to have one last hardcore brawl with Dean Ambrose.

Mark Henry talked about a number of topics. I'm curious to know what matches he has left.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think them not being at Mania to face The Ascension was a missed opportunity given Bubba's return at the Rumble. The clock's ticking on WWE making a move. I don't see TNA happening now that Velvet's gone. What if they work some teams in NXT for a while, since they've never won those titles?

2. It seems kind of contradictory when they otherwise distance themselves from "wrestling" and promote themselves as a variety show and all that. I like the idea of the titles being treated as prestigious, though!

3. That would make sense. They should instead refer to him as the 16 time (WOOOO!) World Champion, even though there's rightfully a dispute about how many titles he's held.

4. To save WWE from the corrupt Authority! Duh. Seriously, though, it was now or never for him to get that big notch in his belt. It's the "bucket list" mentality of checking off that big milestone before his career finally ends. I'm sure the money's great, too!

5. She was trying to get into NXT at one point, but obviously that hasn't happened. I wonder how Samuel Shaw feels about her not renewing her deal.

More wrestling tomorrow.
