Mysterio update, possible WM cameo, NXT names booked post-WM, big names on post-WM Raw, assorted WM news, new Heyman guy teased, Smackdown audience, MMA name to WWE?, and Questions on pipebombs, WCW, and Cornette in the Hall

After the unfortunate accident during his last match, Rey Mysterio is understandably despondent about getting into the ring again. However, it is not believed he will be retiring.

Ric Flair is being considered to have a cameo at WM31. I don't think I'd mind him being involved somehow with HHH vs. Sting.

Finn Balor, Adrian Neville, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn are all booked for weeks of TV after WrestleMania, leading to speculation of at least one of them debuting. The latter two are still out hurt, so they're presumably not set to be called up yet.

Sting and The Undertaker are also booked for the Raw after WrestleMania, which I'm sure will get people talking!

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Jimmy Jacobs will join WWE Creative on April 1. I don't know how much his involvement will really change things, but he's an interesting addition to things.

WWE is teaming up with Facebook to promote WM31. Smart move!

Roman Reigns went after Twitter users who make negative comments about him. Reigns isn't a particularly charismatic guy. This feels like something someone made him say as part of a bit instead of him actually hating Twitter users, but who knows?

AXXESS was covered. It's awesome they have the Elimination Chamber there.

WWE has a WrestleMania cable car in San Francisco, which is pretty funny. I'm curious as to why they used Taker on there given how he hasn't been on TV in a year.

Finn Balor took a picture with Paul Heyman. I would mark out hard for those two being together on-camera.

WWE interviewed the set designer for WrestleMania. How awesome of a job is that!?

CBS Sports looked at the life of Andre the Giant. He was definitely a character. The stories of the pain he was in are pretty sad. Well worth the read about him.

Smackdown was at 2.51 million viewers this week, down a bit from the previous week. There was some good action there.

Brock Lesnar and Sting had some comments for a WM31 story. I'm glad Sting's getting this notch in his belt.

SI.com has a LOT of WM31 quotes. Nice burial of Hogan by Sammartino. I think they were both great and important in different ways. They got some impressive names to comment on Mania's importance.

MMA name Phil Baroni says he's signing with WWE. I'm curious to see how that works out.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Punk said something to that effect in 2011. I think the term has been overused since then, but he really made a mark with his words during that time.

2. It's all part of the angle. WWE definitely does lay it in pretty heavy to WCW, though. The winners write the history books.

3. No idea!

4. I wouldn't be shocked at all if there was too much heat for that to happen. Savage, Warrior, and Sammartino are all bigger fish in the WWE pond than Cornette. They might not care enough to mend bridges with him and induct him.

5. I think it's only a conflict of interest if they pay him to write a good review of it or otherwise try to influence his opinion, but paying for his hotel room and such would certainly raise eyebrows and he should avoid that.

More wrestling tomorrow.
