Live event notes, TNA return update, where's Gunner, Hogan Q&A, ROH on national TV?, and Questions on Vince's mindset, WWE stockholders, putting Joe with Reigns, adding value to the Network, and other companies running Mania week

FIRST OFF, ALL Y'ALL CATS NEED TO CHECK YER CALENDARS AND TAKE A BIG SWIGGA BEER FOR THE WORKIN' MAN, BECAUSE IT'S STONE COLD DAY OOOHHHHH HHHHEEELLLL YYYYYEEEAAAHHHHH.

Adrian Neville beat Curtis Axel at a live event this weekend. Also, Zack Ryder beat Brad Maddox. I would like to see more from Maddox in the ring given how we didn't get to see much of him in his previous main roster appearances. Neville's hopefully coming to the main roster right after WM31. He's ready from that standpoint. I wonder how a Neville/Zayn team would do?

Goldust and Stardust are still working against each other on live events, so the former isn't out of the picture just yet.

The other set of live events featured Tyler Breeze and Bo Dallas teaming in a loss to the Lucha Dragons, and Sasha Banks in a tag team loss. I'm eager to see some of these NXT names work the main roster. Obviously, they shouldn't all come up at once, but there are some solid names there who could make the transition to the main roster soon.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Homicide returned to TNA as part of the BDC. I think that's a great move. He's exactly who should replace Joe there. Homicide is expected to just be there for a short amount of time before undergoing rotator cuff surgery. That's been bothering him for years.Still, I'm glad he's there for a little while at least.

TNA's Gunner has missed some time in order to be part of a movie. I wonder if TNA had to sign off on that.

Hulk Hogan did a Q&A on Mashable. I'm glad he likes Kevin Owens. I'm loving what I'm seeing from him so far.

There are early negotiations between Ring of Honor and Spike for that promotion to come to the channel in some form. That would be a game-changer for both sides. Would we see some TNA names head there to join Alberto El Patron, the former Bad Influence, and some other WWE/TNA alumni? It's too early to really know, but it's definitely something that will spark a big discussion.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Vince has got a unique mindset, that's for sure. Honestly, I like the idea of it being pushed as a championship or title instead of just "the strap" or whatever. I'd also like to see more respect paid to the actual physical title, like not dragging it or throwing it down or what have you. It's not a big issue, though, especially in a sports entertainment atmosphere.

2. It's all about the dollars and cents at the end of the day. If WWE can keep making money, stockholders will stick around. I do wonder what happens if stockholders drop out and it's basically just the McMahons and WWE execs holding stock. I don't see that happening anytime soon, so it's really just a hypothetical thing. I don't see Vince leaving his post until he physically can't run the company anymore, so there's not much reason to speculate!

3. It looks like "Joe main eventing in WWE" is the new "Bully Ray should come in and face Lesnar." I definitely don't see Joe becoming a top name in WWE overnight, if he even comes in. I hate to say it, but I think it's more likely he'd be at least a notch below guys like Reigns. As for what WWE "should" do, that depends on what Joe can benefit to WWE. They should see how he adapts to the environment through training in the performance center, and go from there. Interestingly, I think Joe and Reigns are pretty much the same height.

4. Absolutely! It's important to note it took a LOT of money to get the Network off the ground. It would have taken a lot more if they tried to do a bunch of live, original content right out of the gate, too. We'll almost definitely see more original content going forward, but the Network is still in its early years.

5. I think it's great for everyone involved, actually. There's room for non-WWE promotions in the wrestling world, and them using Mania as a springboard is smart since so many wrestling fans are in the area anyway. It's not like ROH, etc. are trying to promote their show as a WWE show or something Mania-related. They're just in the same areas.

More wrestling tomorrow.
