NXT DVD update, Galloway "stands up for wrestling", TNA lineup change, more on DeMott, HoF update, ECW original undergoing surgery, more on NXT live event, HHH works with Arnold, WWE live event notes, and Questions on Taker vs. Wyatt, Chilly Willy, Jim Crockett, and bad wrestling venues

WWE is planning an NXT DVD to drop later this year. The brand keeps growing, which is great! I hope they really build something special there and it keeps helping the talents involved be ready for the main roster.

Drew Galloway has been "taking over" TNA's social media accounts this weekend for a "#StandUpForWrestling" campaign. That's kind of goofy, but maybe it gets people interested in the product. I'm really glad Galloway is there. The product as a whole is really worth watching lately.

Destination America has moved this weekend's edition of Impact Unlocked to debut before next Friday's new edition of Impact Wrestling. I'm not sure that's the direction they should be going. The content involved will be a week old by then, and it will be time to move toward the next show.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

NXT talents are incredibly excited Bill DeMott is gone from the company. It's a shame it took this long before that happened, but I'm glad it did.

Update: In regard to rumors of DeMott getting another role in WWE, he's said to be completely gone from the company. As he should be given how much negative press he's had.

Kevin Nash is expected to be the next name announced for the WWE Hall of Fame, which makes sense.

The Blue Meanie is undergoing surgery on his hand after slipping in the ice and breaking it in several places. Ouch!

Here's a live report from NXT's first live event. I suspect we'll be seeing NXT live events more regularly soon.

Triple H posted a picture from an interview he was part of at The Arnold Classic. It will likely be on the WWE Network at some point. A pretty big week for HHH when you factor in what all NXT did.

WWE is continuing the "Intercontinental Championship being stolen" angle at live events. I think that adds something fun and unique to the show. I honestly kind of miss the 24/7 Hardcore Title.

Curtis Axel teamed with Adam Rose this weekend. We'll see if that becomes a more regular thing. It could easily have just been because they were both there and WWE wanted to use them both, so they ended up teaming.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think some of this depends on how you define a "clean finish", especially in something like Wyatt vs. Taker where there could be supernatural effects and such. I think a DQ finish or no contest is kind of a cheap way out when they can do something more creative that would protect both of them going forward. I like the idea of Bray being close to a victory, but getting cocky and trying to do something like put Taker in a casket or bury him or something, only for Taker to appear behind him and beat him for the win. They could also have Bray win, but Sting challenge Taker the next night to set up WM32. They want WM32 to be a really big deal. Announcing the main event a year in advance, like they did with Rock vs. Cena, is one way to do that.

2. I don't see anything about him having a match since 2009.

3. Talk about someone who's totally disappeared from the wrestling business. He should go into the Hall of Fame, but I don't see it happening given how he's been persona non grata for two decades now.

Nothing to add to 4.

5. I don't see any topping that answer!

More wrestling tomorrow.
