WM31 guests, AXXESS rib?, Scotty responds to Rikishi, more pre-WM press, ROH name done, Punk on Itami using the GTS, pre-WM injury, Stone Cold update, and Questions on Bray vs. Taker, WWE name generator, the HoF, what gets bumped to the pre-show, and Brock beating Reigns

Some cameos backstage at WrestleMania 31 were former WWE Creative member Freddy Prinze, Jr. and former WWE star Ted DiBiase, Jr.. I wonder if we'll see the latter ever get back in the ring.

The Ascension was booked at a lot of AXXESS sessions this weekend, leading to a rumor of them being ribbed by Management. Is their gimmick not enough of a rib? I wonder where they go from here.

Scotty 2 Hotty responded to Rikishi's Hall of Fame speech basically ignoring Too Cool. Can this please lead to the Usos vs. Too Cool at Extreme Rules or later?

John Cena did a Q&A before WrestleMania. I'm interested to see what kind of international markets they expand to in the years to come.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

ROH's Tomasso Ciampa has finished up his time there, so he could be on the road to TNA or NXT. I've seen a match or two of his and am curious to see how he'd do elsewhere.

Hideo Itami and C.M. Punk had some banter on Twitter about Itami busting out the GTS at an NXT live event. Itami did the move first in Japan as KENTA. There's respect there.

Bray Wyatt is believed to have sprained his ankle when working out ahead of his match at WrestleMania. He certainly was feeling the effects of that during the match, which was so-so at best.

Some of Rusev's soldiers at WM31 were independent wrestlers. There were a good number of extras at the show with the entrances.

Paul Heyman talked ahead of WrestleMania. Some serious mistakes here. Heyman was known before ECW existed (Paul E. Dangerously, anyone?), and he didn't found the company. ECW was a thing before Heyman was involved. Anyway, I'm glad both Lesnar and Heyman are sticking around.

Stone Cold Steve Austin was originally scheduled to be part of WrestleMania 31, but allegedly there was a falling out with Vince McMahon that prevented that. This could have been partially about a deal in regards to Austin's podcast being on the WWE Network. I'm sure WWE would love Austin to work WM32 in Texas, so who knows if that's going to happen at this point.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I disagree with the pessimism about Bray's booking. He hasn't been booked as a dominant top heel, but he was definitely protected for months before the Taker feud, going back to the feud with Ambrose. I would have really liked to have seen Bray get the win and take the mantle from Undertaker, but they want Taker to have one last big match in Dallas.

2. I'd like to add it has to be a name that isn't already owned by another wrestler and isn't likely to cause confusion in the marketplace for another wrestler. For instance, they can't call a wrestler AJ Stiles or Geoff Jarett something. Not that they would, but they do have to consider such things.

3. There's no objective criteria for who gets in. They can induct Mae Young's son Hand next year if they feel like it. As was said, The Freebirds should go in next year.

4. #GiveDivasAChance! I think the Divas match is good for something completely different between major bouts. That match was more important than Big Show's latest accomplishment, anyway.

5. I have no complaints at all with what they did. I would have been somewhat deflated if Brock beat Reigns. The time was right to make a new star at WM31.

More wrestling tomorrow.
