Divas vs. Brooklyn, Y2J on Hogan, ROH PPV note, Raw audience, and Questions on Kane's return, magic appearances, HoF booing, Batista-WWE, and Cena's longevity

Brie and Nikki Bella, as well as Paige (in a since-deleted tweet) fired back at the crowd in Brooklyn who hijacked the Divas' match on Raw. I think it really looked bad on "smart" fans as a whole to treat the performers that way after pushing to see the likes of Paige, Charlotte, and Becky used on the main roster.

Update: WWE added an additional commercial break to the match for the West Coast feed, abruptly cutting out some of the fan behavior.  It was a really embarrassing time to be a wrestling fan.

WWE has already released a new Dudley Boyz T-shirt. I guess if I hadn't seen their TNA work, I'd be more excited about them returning after such a long absence. Theoretically it could be good for the other teams to learn from the veterans if they're used in that way. I'm sure we're in for a nostalgia run, though.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Chris Jericho discussed the recent Hulk Hogan controversy. I think he took a good middle ground.

ROH's Final Battle PPV will be the first in the 2300 Arena since ECW Barely Legal in 1997.

Raw's audience Monday was 3.72 million. That's a shock given the big happenings at Summerslam and the night after.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think there's probably room for one last run as HELLFAHR AND BRIMSTONE Kane. I mean, Rollins is going to need a challenger for Hell in a Cell... Some also think he'll come back enraged at Brock Lesnar. There are going to be people who want to see Kane vs. Taker again to finish off one or both characters for good. If Taker retires at WM32, I don't know what that means for The Devil's Favorite Demon as far as Masked Kane.

2. Probably by darkening the arena during the previous commercial break, showing a video package or something to the live audience while the surprise person hides.

3. Booing a bad comedy skit is one thing. Interrupting someone speaking at such an important event is really uncalled for. Ditto for disrespectful chants that have nothing to do with matches. If fans wanted to boo the Miz segment, fine. But turning the Divas revolution into another display of how some fans think they're more important than the wrestlers was juvenile.

4. After the success of Guardians of the Galaxy, WWE is more than happy to promote Batista's outside ventures to try to keep the two sides linked in the public's perceptions.

5. That sounds like a reasonable guess. I expect him to end up like HHH, Taker, Big Show, Kane, etc., continuing to contribute in the ring for as long as he can stay healthy.

More wrestling tomorrow.
