WWE "signs fan to contract," Raw guest star official, Warrior Day set, Ziggler update, Kane update, another Taker appearance, more NXT from Brooklyn, Taker's theme part of legal battle, Rollins nose breaking T-shirt, IC Title update, TNA locker room note, TNA on ROH's status, TNA returns, another NJPW name in ROH, WWF champ's autobiography out soon, Raw audience, and Questions on the worst year of WWF vs. WCW, Lesnar's dominance, Cena vs. Rollins, Tough Enough exposing the business, and saving Hogan's career

WWE signed an 11-year-old fan who submitted a video for Tough Enough to a contract as "Drax Shadow" in a segment involving Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and the fan's favorite wrestler, Stardust. That's a really cool moment. When does he start paying his dues on the road as a member of the ring crew?

WWE put out a press release on next week's guest hosting appearance by Stephen Amell. Amell's been pushing for this for a LONG time. I hope it turns out like he hoped.

WWE will have an Ultimate Warrior day on the Saturday before Summerslam, launching the new book about the WWE Hall of Famer. They're really trying to make it an event on the level of WrestleMania.

Dolph Ziggler is expected to return to WWE for the TV tapings before Summerslam. I expect Ziggler/Lana vs. Rusev/Summer Rae at that event.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

There's no update on when Kane will return to TV. I think it's good to keep him off for a while to sell the broken leg. He's expected to come back as a babyface, presumably to feud with Seth Rollins.

The Undertaker will likely be on at least one episode of Raw after Summerslam. It will be interesting to see what they do with him if Brock doesn't mop the floor with him. Heck, what does Brock do if he doesn't mop the floor with him?

WWE will tape at least one episode of NXT while they're in Brooklyn. I'm guessing it will feature people who aren't on the Takeover special itself so they can avoid spoilers.

The Undertaker will be part of several convention appearances in the coming months. That's a big shift from when he didn't do anything out of character, including appear on-camera at the Hall of Fame.

WWE Legal is going after a rapper for using part of The Undertaker's theme on a diss track. I'd think the song would fall under "transformative use" and he'd be OK.

WWE has released a Seth Rollins T-shirt playing off him breaking John Cena's knee. AMAZING. I love it.

Ryback pledges to be back by Summerslam. The IC Title has really been derailed by injuries lately.

Dixie Carter threw a party for the TNA performers following the most recent TV tapings, in recognition of all their hard work. TNA plans to tape more content after Bound For Glory.

TNA was happy that DA dropped ROH as their lead-in, given the low audience it generated. That's hilarious given the ridiculous projections people had of how successful the promotion would be there.

At the most recent set of TV tapings, TNA brought Crimson and Jay Bradley back to the roster. Bradley will now be known as Aiden O'Shea, although I don't see why considering they already made a name for him last time he was there. I liked Crimson pretty well, and am willing to give O'Shea another chance.

NJPW star Hirooki Goto will be part of ROH's show on Aug. 21, in a six-man tag. ROH is making the most of their agreement with New Japan.

Bob Backlund's autobiography will be released on September 15. That has the potential to be amazing.

Raw's audience Monday night was 3.70 million, up from the previous week.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Hogan and Big Show on one channel, with Kevin Nash on the other? Yeah, those were some pretty dark days. The less said about 1995, the better.

2. I'm pretty much good with it since we don't usually see someone that dominant. I do think one day someone will eventually take him down, but there's no need to rush it. He's a special attraction for a reason. I think Sheamus, Owens, Ambrose, Cesaro, and Bryan would all be good picks to dethrone the beast. As long as it's not Baron Corbin or Bull Dempsey, I think I can live with him eventually not being invincible.

3. It's silly to pretend there aren't still a lot of Cena fans. WWE is booking for the audience at large, not just the relatively small number of people who read dirtsheets. That said, I definitely think Cena combining the titles would rub a vocal portion of the crowd the wrong way, and would be really short-sighted.

4. Tough Enough is supposed to be more of a shoot, and appeal to a different audience. It's more of a behind-the-scenes reality show kind of thing, so they don't have to worry too much about kayfabe.

5. He admitted what he said and regrets it. I think his issue is needing to stay out of the spotlight and "sell" for a while before he can Hulk up. If he uses his name and prominence to become an advocate for better race relations and pays his dues to those he offended, I think he'll eventually get back in the public's good graces. He's got to earn it, though.

More wrestling tomorrow.
