ROH attendance, ROH injury, Whitmer update, ROH guest, Takeover guests, rumor of new WWE signing, identity of new NXT star, Summerslam guests, upcoming live WWE Network content, and Questions on TE contestants, heels getting along, Summerslam gripes, Eva Marie's training, and Piper as World Champ

ROH drew around 2,200 fans for Field of Honor. Not bad at all!

Alex Shelley shattered several teeth and his mouthpiece due to knee from Mark Briscoe (who wears a knee brace). That sounds really brutal.

BJ Whitmer hopes to be back in the ring for ROH at the end of the year. He's easily one of the best parts of the show.

Taeler Hendrix also visited at Field of Honor.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

A number of NJPW names, including the president, attended Takeover in Brooklyn. They visited Finn Balor and Jushin Liger. I wonder if we'll see anything else between NXT and NJPW.

There are rumors of WWE using Kanna after she appeared at Takeover. It'd be crazy to show her on-camera and not use her.

Nia Jax is The Rock's cousin, and has been working live events. I'm excited to see the next stage of the Divas division.

A lot of main roster talents were backstage watching Takeover. It was quite the show!

Backstage at Summerslam were NJPW's Okada, Bob Backlund, and Oscar from Men on a Mission. In the front row were Linda McMahon and Michelle McCool. I'm sure a lot of people are buzzing about that first name. WWE working with NJPW could be very interesting.

WWE will show their MSG live event on October 3 on the WWE Network. It will feature Brock Lesnar. That could be fun.

Edge and Christian will be on Stone Cold's WWE Network podcast. That should be really good.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I wouldn't make too much out of what's done on any reality show. WWE will get a better feel for who she is if she gets a real contract.

2. I'm fine with all the heels getting along unless there's a reason for them to not get along (i.e. they might be feuding and one of them will turn). Generally heels have similar M.O.s that will at least allow them to get along for whatever match they're in. The same goes for faces. Shades of gray should be the exception rather than the rule.

3. One at a time. They turned Jon Stewart heel for whatever that's worth. Taker did get booed by some fans. And I doubt Vince would throw down the U.S. Title just because it used to be a WCW title. It's not like he hasn't known that for years now.

4. Because she's getting that opportunity when other Divas looking to make it to the main roster aren't.

5. Titles didn't change hands nearly as often as they do in 2015. He was a top heel challenger to a dominant babyface champion. That was really all he needed to be then.

More wrestling tomorrow.
