Hogan on TMZ, new female trainer for NXT?, live event notes for GFW/NXT/WWE, next Takeover outside?, more on Amell, latest on TE winners, Curtain Call revisited, WWE press, big start to Raw, announce team updates, former WWE name misses ROH show, several Diva matches on Raw, and Questions on Brock-Taker heat, turning Austin heel, Orton's first title win, putting the Divas in teams, a new Ironman match, and what should have happened at Summerslam

Hulk Hogan, ever willing to play babyface, spoke to TMZ about his current relationship with WWE. I don't see WWE going back to working with him anytime soon.

Former TNA Knockout Sarita is expected to become a trainer for NXT after finishing up at EMLL in September. She was part of Tyler Breeze's Periscoped entrance at Takeover: Unstoppable, so it wouldn't be a big surprise. I think it's great they're getting more female trainers, and an accomplished one at that.

Kevin Nash put over Bullet Club at an appearance for GFW. The main event saw Jeff Jarrett assist Doc Gallows in a win. I think why Bullet Club works in NJPW is Japan isn't nearly 20 years removed from the nWo and DX like the U.S. wrestling scene. I don't know if fans here would be as receptive to seeing the gimmick as a big part of things.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

An NXT live event this weekend featured a match taped for the Dusty Classic, which is clearly a big deal based on how much they're doing for it. Vickie Guerrero was also in attendance, but not involved in anything.

October's Takeover special is speculated to be outdoors in the Full Sail parking lot in order to accommodate more people. That's pretty cool.

There's been further speculation of a singles match between Stephen Amell and Stardust. Amell was really liked backstage, so he's all-but-expected to return at some point. He's a big fan and cares enough to put the work in; he's not just showing up to plug his show. That should really count for something.

The Tough Enough winners will soon begin work at the WWE Performance Center. We'll see how they do.

The Kliq pranked the two fans who filmed the MSG Curtain Call. It's funny this is now openly talked about after it caused such a stir when it occurred. Similarly to the Montreal Screwjob. Also, I wonder what kind of pranks HHH will play when he's officially in charge of WWE.

Roman Reigns promoted this weekend's WWE live events.

Sting will start off Raw. If you had said that in 1998 or 99, people would absolutely flip their shit. It's still pretty cool in 2015.

Booker T. will return to Smackdown's commentary team, with Byron Saxton remaining on Raw. I'm glad some younger names are in the mix.

Tyler Breeze beat Baron Corbin at a WWE live event this weekend. I'd love to see Prince Pretty in the big time if they use him right. There's only so much he can do in NXT.

Cliff Compton had a medical emergency necessitating him missing an ROH show this weekend. Hopefully he's OK now.

Charlotte, Paige, and Becky Lynch will be in Beat the Clock matches on Raw to determine the next challenger for Nikki Bella's championship. I'm actually not sure who I want to win the title next. I'd certainly like to see Sasha in singles matches with all of PCB, and all of PCB facing each other at some point. I can see why people are upset the Divas Revolution still focuses on the Bellas...

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. There was heat during Brock's first run after Taker put Brock over on PPV as champion and Brock supposedly didn't want to return the favor by jobbing after his title run was over. But Taker doesn't work with just anyone, especially at a show that isn't Mania. So, I'd assume they at least have that much respect for each other.

2. The argument was fans were tired of seeing Austin vs. the McMahons, so they put them on the same side at WM17. I actually liked the turn while it lasted, but there are plenty who felt it was the wrong decision.

3. I definitely felt it was too soon at the time, especially since it came more or less out of nowhere. He was an IC Title-level guy who suddenly became champion. It definitely took some time after that for me to take him seriously as World Champion.

4. I think it makes sense to pair the new Divas with established Divas so they don't get lost in the shuffle. They all got vignettes and Steph put them each over as individuals on their first night. I do think the division as a whole has stagnated since they're obviously holding out for Nikki to beat AJ's record, but they've done an OK job with the new wrestlers.

5. I think that would be amazing! Cena knows how to set the pace to keep it from being an ROH match. Cena vs. Owens would be insane, too.

6. I don't know if it was discussed, but I would have liked Lana and Summer Rae to have been involved in a mixed tag at Summerslam. They hopefully will be at Night of Champions. There's heat between those two characters that should build to them colliding in the ring.

More wrestling tomorrow.
