Smackdown audience, assorted WWE/Summerslam press, ROH name hurt, ROH on NJPW, ROH guests, NXT panel coverage, more on WWE-WWNLive, new ROH contender, NXT UK tour details, and Questions on the new Divas, Piper/Hogan, Legends roundtable, and Tough Enough

Smackdown bounced back to 2.43 million viewers this week. That's up from quite the low last week.

Cesaro talked about his amazing training.

Seth Rollins talked about working with Jon Stewart.

ESPN put over Brock Lesnar.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Roderick Strong got a gash in his forehead from working Jay Lethal. He's OK, other than some swelling.

ROH is excited about a bigger relationship with NJPW. It looks like more talents will be going back and forth. That's big for fans of both sides.

Former TNA name Taeler Hendrix and The Blue Meanie were visiting at ROH. I'm a little surprised we haven't seen Taeler since her TNA run.

Daniel Bryan's WizardWorld appearance was covered.

Seth Rollins talked about Summerslam, his title run, and more.

Here are highlights from the NXT panel before Takeover:
- Dusty was definitely one of a kind.

- FCW was more old-school, for sure. I don't know if that was a good thing.

- Pretty cool note about WM31. Of course Haitch brought up his match with Sting.

- I'm definitely glad female wrestlers don't have to "wrestle like Divas" anymore.

- AJ Styles in WWE/NXT would really be something. It's worth giving him a look.

- I think NXT is still developmental in a way since talents go there on the way to the main roster. Let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

- Kind of crazy to hear wrestlers signed to other promotions mentioned as dream opponents. I'm not really a fan of Cole or the Bucks, but maybe they'd be able to fit in with the WWE style with some adjusting.

- I definitely want to see Balor vs. Rollins at some point.

Top WWNLive executives were in the crowd for Takeover:Brooklyn, leading to further speculation of the company working with WWE with the NXT brand. I know a lot of people are excited about that possibility. It could definitely be really big for WWE.

Watanabe is the new #1 Contender for the ROH TV Championship after a gauntlet match at an ROH show.

NXT will tour the UK from December 10-16. That will be a really big week for the brand. No word on if those are just live events or if TV will be taped.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Pairing the new Divas up with established acts is a good way to sell them to the casual fans. They could easily get lost in the shuffle otherwise. They've also each been given video packages since their debuts. I think they could definitely do more to get over each Diva's character, but I'm not complaining about what they've done so far.

2. Yeah, I wouldn't know. I definitely wouldn't put Piper as being as close with Hogan as someone like Jimmy Hart or the Nasty Boys, but I also don't know of any heat between them.

3. They definitely should if there's a real audience for it. It was a great show.

4. Nothing to add here.

5. We'll find out Tuesday!

More wrestling coming up.
