ROH in Philly update, Interviews with Banks/Bryan/Reigns, WWEPC spotlighted, Chyna runs into HHH, new Summerslam match, TNA and ROH audiences, and Questions on dropping the belt before leaving NXT, more NXT specials before big WWE shows, tag team turmoils, future WWE signings, and Nikki's title reign

ROH's upcoming Philadelphia show has sold out, with standing room seats now added. That's something of a stronghold for them.

Chris Jericho recently had Sasha Banks on his podcast. I'm excited for her future.

Linda McMahon was recently at the WWE Performance Center. It just dawned on me HHH and Stephanie will probably recreate some Vince/Linda angles in 20 years.

Speaking of the WWEPC, it was profiled by Men's Fitness. It's great to see WWE get positive coverage in more mainstream outlets.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Daniel Bryan talked about winning the ROH Title. I really miss pre-Authority Jamie Noble. Easily one of the best Cruiserweights WWE had in their division.

Chyna sought to speak to Triple H at Roddy Piper's funeral, to which they had both been invited. According to Sean Waltman, security almost intervened. I don't see there being any reconciliation anytime soon. It'd probably be best for all parties to let sleeping dogs lie for the time being.

Roman Reigns talked about the recent briefcase incident, his WM31 match, and more:
- I've got to hand it to Reigns to not try to go after the fan who threw it at him, nor to press charges. I wouldn't have blamed him for doing so.

- I do think the WM31 match was fun for what it was.

- I don't see Rock being at Summerslam, but you never know.

Kevin Nash is scheduled to be part of Summerslam weekend, hopefully just for the panel discussions. Him being involved at Summerslam 2011 was awful enough. I REALLY hope they don't make that mistake again.

Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro is official for Summerslam. I'm sure it will be incredible.

TNA's audience this week was 272,000 viewers for the first showing, and 60,000 for the replay. I don't know what kind of numbers DA wants for the series, but that's a REALLY big drop from the Spike days. At some point, it's going to be make-or-break time for the show.

ROH this week got 148,000 viewers. It will be interesting to see what happens to them if DA drops TNA.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. One of the oldest rules in wrestling is losing to put someone over on your way out, so the next generation gets a rub while you go on to whatever your next stage is. Title vacancies should be saved for rare circumstances when there's not much in the way of other choices. If booking is done well, it doesn't hurt someone to lose the title clean because they get their heat back for future feuds.

2. I definitely think we'll see some instances of that. Maybe not every time, but almost certainly we'll see more NXT stuff on the road given how well the ticket sales have been for Takeover:Brooklyn.

3. YES! I was all set for it at Summerslam, too. It can be overused, as can any gimmick match. Sometimes it makes sense to do one, though, and I think they could have done that at Summerslam.

4. They MIGHT give Ricochet a shot at some point, but he'd have to be free from LU before any deal could be struck. If Tessa sticks with wrestling, I definitely think WWE would take a look at her. They just have to be careful with signing second-generation names before WWE's sure the talent is ready, and committed to the business. See: Manu, Sim Snuka, Ted DiBiase.

5. Hopefully she drops the belt shortly after. I understand why they'd want to stick it to Mrs. C.M. Punk, but I don't think Nikki's that great of a champion.

More wrestling tomorrow.
