WWE+ROH live event notes, Compton update, Ambrose press, Bischoff working on WWE project, and Questions on Natalya, Jon Stewart, Big Show, nostalgia at NoC, and more Takeover specials

Baron Corbin lost to Jimmy Uso at a recent WWE live event, while Tyler Breeze lost to Jack Swagger. I really hope Breeze is a hit on the main roster.

Stevie Richards appeared at an ROH live event, getting into an in-ring confrontation with Jay Lethal. That would actually be an interesting match, since apparently Richards can still go.

Chris Jericho defeated Luke Harper at WWE's show in Puerto Rico. I wonder if they'll ever do a Network special from there. They've got to at some point, right?

Cliff Compton had a seizure before his scheduled ROH match, but has been released from the hospital. Hopefully he's on the right track now.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

A fan jumped the railing at Smackdown in an attempt to get to Dean Ambrose. There's no truth to reports of the fan having a knife. This is really out of control. What makes people want to do that kind of thing?

In happier Ambrose news, he discussed his role in the recent WWE 2K16 ad and more. It's crazy there was a time when WWE had no idea of what to do with him.

Eric Bischoff will provide commentary on the second volume of WWE's Monday Night Wars DVD. That's really cool! The show will benefit from his perspective.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think they need to focus on the mass of Divas they already have involved in the angle before working Natalya into things. It's tempting to think they did do too much, too soon with three high-profile Diva debuts.

2. I don't see him becoming part of WWE on a full-time basis given how worn out he's got to be from so many years on "The Daily Show." I definitely think we'll see him again at some point, though.

3. WWE always uses BEEG as a dragon for someone to slay and get more over in the process. That's his main role, whether he's heel or face. I suspect that will continue as long as WWE thinks working with him will get someone else to a higher level.

4. There's nothing new or fresh about the Dudleys going for the tag team titles. They did that when Bill Clinton was president. But it's possible some of the more casual older fans subscribe to the Network to relive those glory days, and that's why WWE's doing it.

5. I definitely think we'll see NXT paired with major WWE PPVs in the future. I don't know about Survivor Series or the Rumble, though, since they've announced Takeover specials for October and December. We'll see about the future.

More wrestling tomorrow.
