New Field of Honor match, Ziggler returns at live event, Summerslam match official, Takeover hits big milestone, Sheamus update, Raw dark match note, ROH moves tickets, more on Maddox, TE competitor update, and Questions on a cash-in at Summerslam, Hogan missing Piper's eulogy, Owen 3:16, Russo's opinions, and Double J's legacy

RPG Vice and The Kingdom vs. ACH, Matt Sydal, and the Young Bucks has been added to Field of Honor. Highspots. Highspots everywhere. Although are they still highspots if they're the majority of the match?

Dolph Ziggler was involved at a live event this weekend, defending Lana against Rusev and Summer Rae. I assume we're in for a mixed tag at Summerslam. Lana pulling out a Zig Zag would be pretty amusing.

Update: Ziggler is expected back at next week's TV. This live event was in the same town as his filming, so he more or less made a cameo ahead of "officially" coming back at Raw.

Ryback vs. The Miz vs. Big Show is official for Summerslam following The Big Guy's return on Raw. So, the IC Title doesn't go back to Vacant at this time.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Takeover:Brooklyn has officially sold out. WWE might open up some additional seats, but as things stand now, more than 13,000 tickets have been purchased. That's really incredible. I hope the future remains bright for NXT.

Sheamus was not a part of WWE's Australian tour, leading to speculation of an injury. He's an important player in the company right now, so hopefully it's pretty minor.

The scheduled dark match for after Raw was going to be Big Show/Rollins/Wyatt vs. Reigns/Ambrose/Orton, with Show replacing Sheamus on the advertising for it. The match didn't occur for unknown reasons.

ROH's scheduled show for Philadelphia next Friday has nearly sold out. I don't know how sales for Field of Honor are doing.

Brad Maddox is now blonde, for whatever that's worth. They need to figure out what they're going to do with him.

Tough Enough's Chelsea Green was visiting at WWE's live events this weekend. No word on any of the cast being signed.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think we're in for a big clustermess where Cena, Rollins, and Sheamus all keep their respective trophies. All the more reason to close with Brock vs. Taker.

2. I agree. Although I side with Hogan as far as what he thought was a private conversation is now public.

3. Hindsight is 20/20. They've learned since then, thankfully.

4. Opinions of people who were important players in the business can be newsworthy. If he wasn't relevant, and no one clicked on the stories with his opinions, sites would probably stop giving him attention. I think some of what he says is worth listening to if one's interested. If not, no one's forcing you to read his or any other personality's viewpoints.

5. Some of that will depend on GFW, but I think he's really been an important player in wrestling in the past 20 years. Not THE most important player, obviously. But he's been significant for a number of reasons. I'd like to think he'd have something to offer WWE behind-the-scenes, but he might be even more valuable competing with them.

More wrestling tomorrow.
