Assorted wrestling press, Interviews with Miz/Cross, Impact milestone, next Impact in 60 topic, team trademarks name, Summerslam site, big news for Sarah Logan, WWE COVID update, Jarrett trial delayed, Extreme Rules name update, new WWE matches, and Questions on Vince working with ECW, EVOLVE's future, why WWE bought EVOLVE, and Low Ki as a wrestler

Big Show is on New Day's latest podcast.

The Miz discussed his new game show and more.

Drake Maverick's Twitter account was hacked.

Xavier Woods is on the latest NHL Hat Trick.

The North have been Impact Tag Team Champions for a year. Honestly the title should be retired at this point.

"Impact in 60" focuses on Rosemary this week.

Rock 'n' Roll Express have trademarked that team name.

Summerslam will come from the WWE Performance Center on August 23. There had been hope of holding the show in front of fans, but that won't be happening.

Sarah Logan announced being pregnant. That would explain her stepping away from wrestling!

Nikki Cross spoke to Sportsnet in Canada.

WWE is believed to be facing a significant number of COVID cases both in front of and behind the camera. I really hope they make meaningful changes as a result. This needs to be a wakeup call to how serious it can be.

Jeff Jarrett and Anthem's lawsuit has been delayed until July 21, likely due to COVID cases rising locally. The two sides will have a conference call on July 10.

Extreme Rules is now being referred to as "The Horror Show at Extreme Rules." It wouldn't shock me at all to see the name changed again before the show arrives.

The Horror Show at Extreme Rules has added:
- Apollo Crews vs. MVP for the United States Championship
- Seth Rollins vs. Rey Mysterio in an "Eye For An Eye" match

Raw next week will feature Sasha Banks and Bayley vs. the Kabuki Warriors for the Women's Tag Team Championship. Notably this precedes Asuka vs. Sasha Banks the following Sunday.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. A lot of it was to get a leg up on WCW, yes. ECW was recruiting and grooming talent for both major promotions, and WWE wanted that balance to go in their favor. I've also heard Vince admired Heyman as a fellow Northeastern promoter changing the wrestling world.

2. I really don't expect them to continue running EVOLVE shows. That could change when the COVID crisis passes, but I wouldn't think it would be a big priority when they've already got their own event tours. As for contracted talent, those weren't included in the sale. WWE can pursue them individually if they so choose, however.

3. I would be surprised to see them sign a lot of names they haven't already used. They've got a LOT of people under contract already.

4 is not related to this person's wrestling exploits. As such I will bypass it.

5. Essentially Ki carries himself as a badass warrior who can compete on even footing with those larger than he is. He also takes himself very seriously. To some degree those are strengths of his as far as credibility goes, but he can and has lost opportunities as a result.

More wrestling coming up.
