Drake Maverick spoke to TVInsider about staying in NXT and more:
- It had to be really weird to hear "you're fired but we want you to wrestle a little while longer."

- I'm glad he had a supportive group.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. That certainly seems to be the closest WWE ever got to the concept, as there isn't any movement on it now.

2. It will take significant rehabilitation and time passing for each individual to earn a level of trust from me. For example, if five years from now someone has really made strides in atoning for their behavior and eliminating future similar behavior in the business, that's a conversation to be had.

3. Honestly I'm on his side as far as wanting to go out "the right way." If there's not a chance a Survivor Series match (or WrestleMania 37 match) leaves a better last impression than the Boneyard match, he's had a good conclusion to his career. That said, I wouldn't blame him for taking in another payday (if not several).

4. It seems more likely he's ready to call it a career when he can cap it off with fans wanting more, rather than the reaction he got after some of his Saudi matches and WrestleMania 33. That said, I do think there would be a point where he'd realize he can't put on a passable performance and would just stay home.

5. With as much content as wrestling shows need to fill, realistically I don't think that's an option. There are only so many concepts to be done in the genre.

More wrestling tomorrow.
