WWE producer released, assorted wrestling content notes, Interviews with Asuka/Jericho/Cheeseburger, AEW action figure release set, BFG date, legend in hospital, Rey update post-Extreme Rules, and Questions on the FTW Title, moving WM37, buying NWA, the FTW title, and WWE's COVID cases

Lance Storm has been released as a producer, following his being furloughed in April. I can see AEW or Impact picking him up.

- Chris Jericho responded to his release.

Extreme Rules' Spanish preview show had Otis, Samoa Joe, Natalya, Lacey Evans, Humberto Carrillo, and Angel Garza.

Asuka spoke to Inside the Ropes before Extreme Rules. NXT Japan is a really bad idea given the lack of return on investment from Triple H's other projects.

AEW's action figures will release August 3. A commercial has been released.

Chris Jericho is on Booker T.'s latest podcast.

Bound For Glory is set for October 24.

Wale commented on Slammiversary's reception.

"Impact on 60" next week will have past Slammiversary matches.

Bobby Fulton has been admitted to a hospital. Best wishes to him for a quick recovery.

CHIKARA's closing got press. I really don't think bringing it back is a good move. That name needs to be retired given its link to #SpeakingOut.

Cheeseburger spoke to Bill Apter about his memories of Hana Kimura and more.

Rey Mysterio's kayfabe condition was updated after The Horror Show at Extreme Rules. That sounds appropriately ambiguous given his uncertain WWE future.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Is it bad that the first place I thought of was Saudi Arabia? Honestly WWE doing WrestleMania Island would be fittingly surreal. We'll see what things look like as that time approaches.

2. I'm not even sure he still wrestles. I would think with D-Von working in WWE, they're at least aware of who he is, but there are only so many spots available and I wouldn't expect him to be a top priority even if there wasn't a pandemic going on.

3. If the company ever does shut down, it will depend on if someone buys the library, assets, contracts, etc. I expect the library and branding would matter more than the talent contracts, because someone can always let them go on the free agent market and sign them that way instead of picking up their NWA contract.

4. I also question the timing. We'll see how it plays out long-term. If he smashes enough people as FTW Champion it can be taken seriously again, but ultimately it seems like it's just a matter of time before it unifies with one of the other singles titles.

5. I don't believe that's the case, though it certainly wasn't the most preventative move by WWE.

More wrestling tomorrow.
