Extreme Rules' Eye For An Eye match is expected to be pretaped/cinematic, with some CGI involved in the finish. That could be hokey if not done well.

Rey Mysterio has asked for a raise in any future WWE contract, but has been turned down. The stated reason is WWE is not intending to give anyone raises during the pandemic. Of course, WWE's chief driver of revenue is TV rights and they're expected to continue to do incredibly well financially in 2020, so some are skeptical of this reasoning.

CMLL is waiting for government and commission approval to run again in Mexico City. They intend to begin with empty arena shows with talents being COVID tested.

Konnan's mother has passed away due to COVID-19 complications. Best wishes to him and those close to him.

Hana Kimura updates:
- Kyoko Kimura sought Bushiroad's help in suing Fuji TV over how they made Hana be portrayed on "Terrace House," but Bushiroad felt it didn't have grounds to sue because Hana was booked for the show by an independent talent agency.

- Bushiroad has offered to do a Hana Kimura tribute show to benefit her family.

- Stardom talent have all been given therapy and will have access to future therapy.

- Jungle Kyona, who worked closely with Hana, was given time off.

- Fuji TV is investigating the events that led to Hana's passing. They deny scenes were staged as Kyoko alleges.

- ROH's tribute episode was put together with Kyoko.

-- I really hope some good comes out of all of this.

The Hulk Hogan movie is set to film soon, as Chris Hemsworth is preparing for the role.

Billy's Gunn Show trademark has got him some heat with OVW's Tony Gunn, who used it years before Billy trademarked it. Billy's wife reached out to OVW telling him to stop using that term, but did not escalate to the level of getting an attorney involved.

Brian Pillman, Jr. has asked MLW to release him, but is still under contract. He is tentatively scheduled for their October 3 and December 5 shows. I expect he'll work in AEW in the meantime.

Impact has asked for hundreds of thousands of dollars in government assistance during COVID-19. I'm curious what that means for the company's viability.

Tessa Blanchard was willing to work Slammiversary, but the two sides didn't agree on financial terms. I'm interested to see what her future holds given how her Impact tenure ended.

Taylor Wilde is looking to return to Impact once COVID subsides. She's Canadian, so visa issues also played a role. I'm good with seeing her back there.

Don Muraco has launched a podcast.

WWE taping schedule for the rest of the month:
- July 15: NXT for July 15 and July 22
- July 17: Smackdown for July 17
- July 19: Extreme Rules (live)
- July 20: Raw for July 20 and July 27
- July 21: Smackdown for July 24 and July 31
- July 29: NXT for July 29 and August 5

"Impact in 60" will focus on Scott Steiner on July 14 and ladder matches on July 21.

Impact released an Eric Young highlight video, continuing teases of him returning.

ROH will soon debut a new debate series, ROH Roundtable.

ROH has passed 500,000 YouTube subscribers. That's not huge, but it counts for something.

- ROH put C.M. Punk vs. Samoa Joe on YouTube to mark the occasion.

Drew McIntyre spoke to talkSport about Heath Slater's Raw appearance. I enjoyed it and hope we see Heath reinvent himself post-WWE.

"Cannonball" drew 770,000 viewers.

ROH official Todd Sinclair is on the next ROH Strong podcast.

Extreme Rules has added a bar fight with Sheamus and Jeff Hardy. That's hilarious.

Raw has added:
- Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens
- Randy Orton vs. R-Truth
- The Viking Raiders vs. Andrade and Angel Garza

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Ultimately Dynamite and any show exists on a network so that network will be paid by advertisers to air commercials during that show. If an advertiser is only interested in a certain demographic, that's what they're going to focus on. Notably a lot of younger fans aren't watching TV as past generations did, so a show that does attract them is going to be coveted.

Nothing to add to 2 or 5.

3. I certainly think a lot of it can be attributed to the fact that a lot of times when they had something or someone that was successful for them, WWF or WCW would do their best to take it from them. WWF and WCW already had a lot of resources, big TV deals, etc. and had a huge head start on ECW as a result. And really given the kind of product ECW was, I can't say it's a surprise it had a short shelf life. It wasn't just chaotic in front of the crowd. It can also probably be attributed to ECW being a niche product by design and not being able to expand beyond their die-hard Northeastern fans.

4. Kamala had slammed him at some point, too.

More wrestling tomorrow.
