NJPW return, WWE Network content, assorted wrestling press, ROH sale, WWE enforcing mask policy, Pillman update, OVW deal, ex-WWE team renamed, NJPW injuries, Koloff family denounces musical, NJPW finals set, Smackdown audience, more on Bully-ROH, NJPW president talks to Sports Illustrated, Cody responds to WWE trademark, MLW release, EVOLVE name announces free agency, and Questions on Jarrett vs. Anthem, announcers in the WWE HoF, the FTW title, and WrestleMania sets

NJPW's Hirai Kawato has returned from CMLL as Master Wato.

"WWE Break It Down" with Sheamus is coming July 10.

Rusev and Sheamus discussed League of Nations. The gimmick definitely felt like throwing some heels together for a temporary alliance.

R-Truth released a new song.

"WWE Chronicle" focusing on Jeff Hardy is coming July 12.

ROH is holding a 50% sale for July 4 weekend. HonorClub subscribers get an additional discount. I expect business is quite slow for them right now.

WWE has instituted a mask policy for talents while not on camera, including fines for noncompliance.

Brian Pillman, Jr. is free to perform with AEW while still under MLW contract. A TNT Championship match with Cody would make a lot of sense.

OVW is now on Roku internationally.

The Ascension are now known as Big Kon and Vik, The Awakening. That sounds like a joke someone would make.

Paradigm Pro Wrestling is holding a live tournament July 24.

IWTV has added lucha promotion Vanguardia.

NJPW's YOSHI-HASHI and YOH have both suffered knee injuries. Neither will compete at upcoming New Japan Cup events, and there is no timetable for either of them to return.

- YOH's injury is a torn ACL.

Ivan Koloff's family has denounced a recent musical that claimed to be inspired by his life. The musical has since dropped mentions of Koloff.

The New Japan Cup finals are Kazuchika Okada vs. EVIL. The winner gets a title match with double champion Tetsuya Naito.

Smackdown drew 1.78 million viewers for the July 4 weekend episode. That's a significant drop from last week. We'll see if they recover Friday.

Dakota Kai is raising money for Giving Kids The World.

Booker T. discussed "Killer" Tim Brooks on his latest podcast.

Bully Ray leaving ROH was a mutual decision. The original plan was for him to finish at Supercard of Honor, concluding his feud with Maria Manic. That's a pleasant surprise; it felt like he was going to stay there for years and years.

Andre the Giant was featured in a Nathan's hot dog commercial.

Drew Gulak tributed Danny Havoc on Smackdown.

New Japan Pro Wrestling president Harold Meij spoke to Sports Illustrated about the company resuming operations. They're clearly taking a measured approach to running events.

Cody responded to WWE trademarking his ring name.

MLW signee Saieve al-Sabah has received his release. That was brief!

EVOLVE's JD Drake is now a free agent. He wrestled at an NXT live event in February, so we'll see if that's where he's headed.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. There was a little bit about some claims being dropped by Jarrett.

2. It's possible he goes in the Legacy wing. The Hall of Fame ceremony itself is largely a ticket-selling enterprise.

3. That's such an obvious merchandise opportunity. I'd be shocked if Taz owned it and didn't capitalize.

Nothing to add to 4 or 5.

6. I definitely like sets that stand out and take advantage of the locale.

More wrestling tomorrow.
