NXT special note, ROH on new app, Interviews with Bianca/Seth/Sonya/Dolph/Piper/Henry/Cody/Bauer, assorted wrestling press, WCW HQ being sold, Miz show rating, Impact signings, Raw audience, NXT UK status update, territory star passes, Slammiversary main event change, Bella mother surgery, NJPW name graduates, GCW return set, and Questions on Owens' COVID advice, Vince-Trump, WWE changing title designs, and Sasha challenging Io

NXT will have limited commercials this week for the Great American Bash. WWE is pulling out all the stops to beat Fyter Fest.

ROH now has a channel on the STIRR app, which takes content from Sinclair Broadcasting in each market. That's good. I hope it brings them extra exposure.

Bianca Belair spoke to FOX's Charlotte Wilder.

The Bella Twins will be on E!'s "Celebrity Call Center."

Kurt Angle will appear on the preshow for the Olympic Channel's "Rulon", a film on amateur wrestler Rulon Gardner. This will be available starting July 21.

WCW's former headquarters is being sold. The CNN Center housed WCW content when that company was owned by Ted Turner. I don't expect anyone involved in wrestling to purchase the space just because of its links to WCW.

"The Best of WWE" this week focused on United States Championship matches.

Seth Rollins spoke to New York Post before Raw:
- I'm very glad they went in a new direction with Seth. We need more characters reinventing themselves; so many seem to get comfortable with what works and coast.

- I like Seth as the teacher when he used to be the student.

- We're still a long way out from Becky even being able to return.

- WWE's scramble to change things after the COVID results was chaotic.

- Oh they absolutely need to do NXT Halloween Havoc.

- WWE has needed to establish fresh characters for years now. That side of things has really been neglected with the new focus on athleticism and "workrate."

Booker T. will guest host a mobile Minecraft tournament.

MLW is selling official replica championships. Nice to see them continuing to get deals in place.

The Miz's "Cannonball" game show drew 2.75 million viewers for its preview episode. That's a pretty solid number for NBC. We'll see if it holds up when the show itself starts, and what if anything that will mean for Miz's standing in WWE.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson will be joining Impact, possibly starting at Slammiversary. They will be able to work for NJPW as well once travel allows. That's an interesting move from them giving the lack of a tag team scene in Impact. I hope it pays off.

Sonya Deville spoke to Maria Menounos about a variety of topics. Mandy Rose made a cameo appearance.

- Deville also spoke to The Mirror.

Dolph Ziggler spoke to Sports Illustrated before Raw:
- I'm definitely complaining his Otis feud is over.

- Not a great idea to tease a 40-minute match if it's not going to happen.

- Haha at least he knows he's there to get people with more potential over.

- Wow his career has really stalled to where he's at the same place he was when Edge retired.

Piper Niven spoke to Alicia Atout.

Mark Henry spoke to Chris Van Vliet.

Raw drew 1.74 million viewers this week, back to where it was before the last two weeks' improvements.

NXT UK is on the path to returning to taping. WWE held a conference call with talent telling them to get ready to wrestle again. That's honestly something of a surprise, as at a time when revenue is down across the board, the brand would be an obvious place to cut back. Frankly with where ratings are now for Raw, Smackdown, and NXT, I'd be cutting losses with NXT UK and 205 Live and incorporating the best workers into the main shows.

NXT UK referee Joel Allen has been released in connection with appearing in a video related to David Starr's scandals.

Texas territory star "Killer" Tim Brooks has passed away at 72 following a long battle with cancer. PWInsider covered his career, as did SLAM! Wrestling

NXT UK's Joe Coffey has been suspended by WWE following accusations during the #SpeakingOut movement. The movement's ripple effects continue to make their way through the business.

Slammiversary will be headlined by an Impact World Championship match with Eddie Edwards, Ace Austin, Trey, and a fourth competitor. This is a chance for someone to put themselves on the map and lead Impact into a new direction.

The Bella Twins' mother has undergone brain surgery. Wow I really hope for the best for all of them. That's scary.

Keegan-Michael Key appeared on "The Bump" to promote CBS' "Game On", which featured Becky Lynch. Also on the show were Samoa Joe, Ricochet, Alexa Bliss, Nikki Cross, Natalya, and Lana.

Cody spoke on Busted Open Radio about WWE using event names Dusty Rhodes was known for and more.

NJPW's Karl Fredericks has graduated from their dojo.

MLW's Court Bauer spoke to Sports Illustrated about the company returning. I appreciate how much thought he puts into the moves he makes. MLW isn't going to return just to return.

Game Changer Wrestling has announced outdoor shows for July 25 and July 26.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It could certainly be a shot at Low Ki. I find Dave's comments here extreme, for the record. While I found Low Ki's comments reckless, wanting him to get a serious disease is crossing a line.

2. While again I'm taking caution to keep this wrestling-related, I certainly can see Vince and Trump being of a similar mindset when it comes to COVID given their history and closeness, and expect each man's stance reinforces the other. Vince doesn't want to slow the show or his vision down for anyone or anything, and that includes COVID.

3. The cynical response is that every so often WWE wants a new belt to sell and/or feels it's time for change for the sake of change.

4. As women's tag team champion, Sasha can appear on any show and presumably challenge for any championship.

Nothing to add to 5.

More wrestling tomorrow.
