New WWE Hall Of Famer, Road Warrior Animal interview, big WWE deal, Questions on Trish Stratus, Michelle McCool, nWo vs. Nexus, and Vickie/Dolph, TNA-Gen Me and Cena rumors, more on UWF, NXT update, and Raw rating

In addition to "Bullet" Bob Armstrong, Abdullah The Butcher has said that he will be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year.

Update: He wants Terry Funk to induct him. That'd be cool.

Road Warrior Animal talks a bit about Hawk and why he isn't in WWE right now while promoting his book here.

Kmart has signed a multi-million dollar sponsorship deal with WWE. Good for both sides.

PWInsider.com has questions today. Here's my take on them:
I think we'll see another DVD on Trish Stratus down the line. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if she becomes a Hall of Famer as well. But that's at least a few years off. Or at least it should be. It's a little too soon to induct a lot of Attitude Era names in my opinion. I'm starting to think that WWE should do like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and not induct someone until 25 years or so after their first professional match. Anyone else have an opinion on that idea?

More questions, answers, and news after the break.
I didn't have anything to add on the streamers question, so on to Michelle McCool vs. Layla. I can certainly see an attempt for her to compete injured, given that she's gotten physically involved in matches. I always kind of cringe when someone works legitimately hurt, but it happens sometimes.

Someone wants to know if we'll see the nWo return to face off with the Nexus. I don't think so, and I really hope not. There are some comparisons between the groups (mainly before the split-up with The Corre), but I don't think they're thinking that at all. The nWo hasn't been in WWE in years, and its long past its freshness. You can only have so many reunions before people stop caring. Ask Mick Foley. Not to mention that the Nexus angle has pretty much run its course. Oh, and there haven't been any indications that WWE wants Waltman or Hall. And Nash is Diesel now.

The last question... wasn't really answered. They pretty much just said that Dolph and Vickie are likely going to Raw. I really hope WWE gets a nice shake-up after Mania with the Draft, and that it helps build their future.

There are rumors that there was heat between TNA and Generation Me for them missing Against All Odds. PWInsider.com says that they're not true. TNA booked their airplanes for that event.

Apparently there were also rumors that John Cena died. Not true.

Another UWF promo here. Will they get any TV coverage or just PPVs?

As was mentioned, there will be a 5th season of NXT. Nothing is known beyond this. WWE has just recently hired some new faces in FCW, so this could be related.

Rey Mysterio has an interview with ESPN.com to promote WWE All-Stars. Nice read, but nothing too newsworthy.

Raw drew a 3.8 on Monday, down slightly from last week but still very high. I hope things continue this trend in the weeks to come.

That's all for tonight. More news to come tomorrow.
