Questions on James Storm, Rock-Cena, Kane vs. Taker, and Raw ratings, National Guard sponsors AXXESS, Cena talks face vs. heel, Who's inducting HBK?, WWE to build Hall of Fame?, Trish,Stone Cold, RVD, and Orton interviews, and the Mania press conference

The first news for Wednesday was the questions sent into PWInsider.com. Here's my take on them. I'm unaffiliated with the website, but like looking at what kind of stuff they get in. If anyone has any questions for me, ask them in the comment section below.

Anyway, first up, should TNA change James Storm's character if Jeff Hardy was punished for being drunk? It's actually an interesting point. If Storm's gimmick was showing up unable to perform then I'd think a change would be wise, but since that isn't the case, and it's a really popular gimmick, I don't have any problems with them keeping it. Not to mention that I'm not even sure if it was alcohol that was Hardy's problem that night.

To add a bit to the second answer, I haven't read about any backstage issues between Cena and Rock or anything like that, so they're at least ok with working together.

I'd like to thank the third questioner for echoing my opinion (independently of course) about The Undertaker feuding with Triple H instead of Kane (and the Corre, who assisted in taking him out). I guess if you want to play devil's advocate, other than the fact that HHH-Taker is more of a unique marquee match, this would fall under the "Three Month Rule" that some bookers ascribe to.

Read on for my take on why Raw's ratings are up, and the rest of the day's news.

The fifth question had a lot going on, so I'll break it down: yes, ratings are up because of Rock, Austin, Taker, and HHH. Ratings will likely drop sometime after Mania when those names aren't around. But, WWE is also doing a good job building King vs. Cole, Miz, Orton, and Punk, so we can't totally disregard that. They really need to get back on the "building new stars" train after Mania to get ratings up without those top names.

Back to news, the National Guard is now the official sponsor of this weekend's WrestleMania AXXESS event. Talk about timing!

John Cena talks about his character being neither face nor heel here. To me, most characters should be one or the other.

Triple H will be inducting Shawn Michaels into the Hall of Fame on Saturday. Hard to argue with that choice, though Bret Hart would be able to give an account of both sides of Shawn. We'll see how Triple H does though.

According to Road Warrior Animal, WWE is considering building a physical Hall of Fame in Tampa, FL. I like that idea and hope it comes to fruition. That is, if they treat it as a big deal and don't lose a lot of money on it like some of their other ventures.

Speaking of the Hall of Fame, here's an article on it with quotes from Cody Rhodes, Teddy Long, and Jimmy Hart about this year's inductees.

Diva-Dirt.com has an exclusive interview with Trish Stratus, which is pretty awesome. She talks about being honored to be asked to be on Tough Enough, and working with Laycool and Snooki.

Stone Cold Steve Austin has a really good interview as well, this time with ESPN.com.

RVD has an interview of his own, talking up TNA. I do wish WWE was more open to outside projects for wrestlers. And the reason that RVD is more utilized in TNA is because they need him more as a big star. They're more willing to use older names in the main event scene than WWE. RVD's injuries and arrest also factored in, and of course WWE isn't known for pushing talent that "they didn't create".

Here's another interview, this time with Randy Orton. Good read. The "indy guys proving their worth" part is similar to my stance on Daniel Bryan. It's nice that he has the tour bus, too. I'm glad they addressed the issue with his wife. It's pretty funny in its own way that she's different every time, but I can see why he wouldn't be comfortable involving his real family like that. I don't have a problem with them using an actress there.

Finally, PWTorch.com has a recap of WWE's WrestleMania press conference. Interesting comment by Triple H, who continues to show that his future is behind-the-scenes.

That's all for Wednesday's news. I'll have more after midnight tomorrow.
