TNA tries to make amends for Victory Road, Mysterio rumor buster, more wrestling/Jersey Shore news, Updates on Sin Cara, Drew Carey, Jeff Hardy's court case, WrestleMania announcing, and Hardy-TNA, Questions on ex-Nexus members, HHH-Taker, Sin Cara, Divas' bouts, and a third brand for WWE, TNA losing TV in Australia, and WWE seeking a new VP of Talent Relations

TNA is offering a special deal to anyone who ordered Victory Road and was unsatisfied by the compromised main event. That's a nice gesture.

Rey Mysterio took to Twitter to deny a rumor that he asked for his WWE release. There are WAY too many false rumors on the internet, wrestling-related and otherwise.

"Jersey Shore"'s Angelina is upset with Snooki for taking part in the angle with WWE, saying it's a rip-off of her getting in the ring in TNA. No word on where JWoww stands on the issue. I can't believe I'm actually covering this, but it is wrestling-related.

After the break, see which brand Sin Cara is set to debut for as well as the rest of the day's news and questions!

Sin Cara and Evan Bourne are set to face members of the Nexus on an approaching Raw house show. Of course, the card is always subject to change and he might not be on TV for that brand. Alberto Del Rio started doing Raw house shows, then ended up on Smackdown. I'm sure it's happened a number of other times as well.

The first question PWInsider.com got today was about plans for the rest of the original Nexus. Darren Young's on NXT, so they're unsure about his future. It's saying something when you go from having a TV spot back to having to earn one. Skip Sheffield is still injured, and could end up with either Nexus or The Corre (or neither) when he's ready to return. Michael Tarver hasn't been seen lately, so whatever plan they had for him they've either changed or haven't executed yet.

Next they go to a question about Triple H vs. The Undertaker. A lot of the reason they went for that match is because of Taker's shoulder injury. They knew they'd have a better match with the limited Taker if he faced a veteran like Triple H. Not to mention that that's a bigger buzz-getting draw than HHH-Sheamus and Taker-Barrett. I think they still could have done Taker-Barrett and worked around the injury by doing a no-DQ stipulation and having The Corre involved. It wouldn't be as good of a match, but it also wouldn't derail the stories they were seemingly building to. Not to mention that it would raise Sheamus and Barrett to be involved with such big names on the show. If Taker wasn't going to be ready, they could go the route they're going now on Smackdown and still have the Taker-Kane and Barrett feuds for when he is closer to 100%. The whole thing seems short-sighted, but I can see and respect their reasoning.

Sin Cara should be a face when he debuts, as he seems like he's being pushed in that direction. And I probably would use him on Raw so they don't feel like they have to eventually do a feud with Del Rio and/or Mysterio.

I don't think the Divas will be a huge focus at Mania this year. There's the 6-person tag made on Raw, but I'm not sure if we'll see a Divas' Title match then or not. It could very well just be another tag match or battle royal or something. Hmm... Eve/Natalya/Gail vs. Melina and the Bellas is about the best Divas match I can think of with an even number of faces and heels, that already has a story attached to it. I wouldn't debut Kong 2 weeks from the biggest show of the year, nor would I shoehorn in more Divas just for a bigger match.

No, WWE's not planning a third brand. They're just using the "fired" gimmick to move the story along with characters they want to do something new with. I don't really have a problem with it as long as it doesn't become TOO frequent.

Bob Barker is being said to induct Drew Carey into the WWE Hall of Fame. I can't believe we'll be saying "WWE Hall of Famer Drew Carey" in the near future.

The never-ending Jeff Hardy trial got another continuance today. Both sides are still working on a plea deal, and they're waiting on results from lab tests as well.

As of now, it is still not confirmed that Jim Ross will do commentary at WrestleMania XXVII, despite reports to the contrary. I'm not going to comment on every BS rumor that's out there, because that would take forever, but this one was specifically mentioned by Ross, so I'm reporting it.

The channel that shows TNA programming in Australia has elected to not renew its contract with the company. Not good news for TNA. I'm not sure of the specific reasons of this. They're still shown in many nations around the globe, so this isn't a sign of worldwide disinterest in the company.

Jeff Hardy has also been pulled from this weekend's TNA house shows. Another step in the right direction. He should be gone at least through Lockdown. As far as TV goes, they should say he left in protest about the match stipulation at Victory Road, then he can "work out a deal to return" when his punishment's done.

WWE is now seeking applications for a Vice President of Talent Relations. John Lauranitis is listed as the Executive Vice President of that department, so this could be a new position they're filling. If they're replacing him, that's potentially huge news. He has a LOT of pull in who gets hired and fired by the company.

That's all for tonight's news. More to come tomorrow!
