Diva face turn?, Hall of Famer done watching WWE, Foley talks WWE diss, TNA upset at online reports, Lawler appearance and Questions on more Shield vs. Wyatts, Punk coming back, NXT, other promotions on the WWE Network and Monday Night War pettiness

Summer Rae was paired with Dolph Ziggler to take on Fandango and Layla at Saturday's WWE live event. Could they be turning her face? And if so, would the WWE audience be open to that? Ziggler could definitely use something new to do and working with Summer Rae could be helpful for keeping him relevant.

"Superstar" Billy Graham offered a thoughtful critique of the current WWE product. I'm with him as far as not wanting to see a lot of the Hornswoggle/El Torito stuff, but I think in general he's missing the mark here. If he's just now figuring out WWE is a company of characters doing "sports entertainment" and getting fed up about it, he's been spared a lot. I actually like Adam Rose and Bo Dallas and I'm not alone in that sentiment.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Mick Foley talked about his current relationship with WWE. I'm glad he can take the high road. It would be great for WWE to throw a wink and nod at Foley when BNB uses that move, but on the other hand, they're not banning Barrett from using it or doing the gesture.

A number of people in TNA are upset at reports of poor ticket sales for their June Impact tapings in New York City, with some feeling former TNA employees are reporting things to bring the company down. While I'm sure some ex-employees have an axe to grind, TNA's in a slump and the number of sold tickets for those events isn't high.

Jerry Lawler will be appearing on the June 7 edition of Me-TV's "Svengoolie". Hopefully he won't be providing commentary.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Interesting that their answer said WWE's done all they can do with The Shield vs. Evolution from a storyline perspective, but they want to see more from The Shield vs. the Wyatt Family. As talented as those involved are, I don't know if there's much more to get from them feuding again from a creative standpoint. Then again, Summerslam's a few months off. Maybe something interesting will present itself to make that feud feel fresh.

2. Punk probably wasn't going to be at Payback regardless. Hopefully when his contract officially expires next month, we can move post the "when's he coming back?" phase. I'd go on the assumption he isn't returning to WWE. At least not anytime soon.

3. Through the WWE Performance Center and their work with Full Sail University, they train on-screen personnel as well as those in production. I don't know about them training future members of Creative, though I believe there are people in NXT who help HHH shape the show.

4. I think the odds of WWE airing footage of a promotion they don't currently own are pretty slim. If (when?) TNA goes under, I can see WWE wanting to buy their footage. In the incredibly unlikely chance they did run TNA content on the Network while TNA's still in business, they'd almost definitely want some kind of creative control of what TNA booked.

5. I can see why it was in WWE's best interests to do the exclusivity deals. They're nothing if not predatory. Both sides fought rather dirty.

More wrestling tomorrow.
