Interviews with Stone Cold/MVP/EC3/Natalya, Flair set for MSG, new title match for Slammiversary and Questions on a Batista face turn, HHH's hammer, Cena vs. Wyatt, booking arenas and kneepads

Stone Cold said in a recent interview there have been delays in a return of Tough Enough and he's open to the possibility of another match, but isn't angling for one. As much as I'd love to see Steve open a can of whoop-ass on someone, I think he should only come back for a big match where he can deliver a top performance.

MVP gave an update on his status for Slammiversary. If MVP can't go, they need to have Abyss on standby.

Ric Flair is booked as appearing at WWE's next show in Madison Square Garden. Daniel Bryan has been pulled from the advertising. It will be interesting to see where Flair fits into the WWE puzzle.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

EC3 talked about Slammiversary and more. He's a diamond in the rough in TNA. A Texas death match would be awesome. I loved the interplay between Bully and EC3 in this.

Natalya was interviewed about there being more women in WWE. This has been going on for quite a while.

Added to Sunday's Slammiversary PPV is an X-Division Championship ladder match between Sanada, Tigre Uno, Manik, Crazzy Steve, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards. I get this weird feeling we're in for a new champ.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Honestly, from a character standpoint, I actually like the idea of Batista and The Shield working together against mutual enemies. Batista shouldn't join the group, though, after the big war those sides had (I still think it's weird for Rollins to be working with HHH and Orton). HOWEVER, the die-hard fans who flock to The Shield would be really upset at the move from a creative standpoint. The Internet would explode with criticism for it. And memes. I don't know if WWE could get fans behind Batista as a face - he represents the old era, part-time performers like The Shield and Bryan are trying to break away from.

2. From Day One, every time Taker uses supernatural powers it makes him look weak and cowardly. Like he can't win on his own. Ditto for Kane with fire, etc. HHH has proven himself capable of winning matches without the sledgehammer. A lot of them, in fact. I really agree with the remark about HHH being booked like a "10" makes some fans treat him like a "5" or "6". People focus too much on how much he's booked and his relationship to the McMahons instead of his talent. It's the cool, contrarian thing to knock his abilities.

3. My thoughts are that WWE just stripped its other top babyface of the title due to injury, has new blood at the top in Rollins, Ambrose and Reigns and Wyatt took it to Cena in the feud (even winning the cage match). This is another B.S. overreaction.

4. Why does everyone think they know more or better than the people who do this for a living? Obviously no one in the business is infallible and improvements can be made, but some of the assumptions made are way out there. There's a BIG difference between asking why WWE tarped off the top area and assuming they would have sold out and that the layman knows more than the people booking the arena.

5. It also helps cushion the blow when dropping on your knees.

More wrestling tomorrow.
