Latest GFW video, Interviews with Dreamer/Ziggler, JR hospitalized, Slammiversary update and note, a look at GFW, assorted WWE press, Impact audience, TNA name pulled from HOH show and Questions on the Network, Rollins' heel turn, indies working together, WWE's offer to former workers and the Heyman DVD

The latest video about Jeff Jarrett's GFW focuses on the talent scouting at Scott D'Amore's BCW. I hope GFW picks up some of the talents that have been missed or misused by WWE and TNA.

Tommy Dreamer talked about Rollins' heel turn and more. The Shield had already faced The Wyatts four times. When was this recorded!? I do think fans and bookers both need more patience in this day and age and not to fret over every little thing in wrestling. I also think way too much attention is put on age. If someone can still go, they can still go.

Jim Ross spent time in the hospital after returning home from the Cauliflower Alley Club annual meeting. I hope he's OK.

Update: Ross underwent a lot of tests, but is expected to be OK. Keep fighting, JR.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
Here's the current lineup for next Sunday's TNA Slammiversary PPV:
- TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Eric Young vs. MVP (assuming MVP is cleared).
- Bully Ray vs. EC3 (you'd think EC3 was facing MVP with the ending of the most recent Impact)
- James Storm vs. Mr. Anderson
- Willow vs. Magnus (we've already seen this one on TV multiple times recently)
- Bobby Lashley vs. Samoa Joe
- Austin Aries vs. Kenny King
- The Von Erichs in tag team action.

I can't think of a more fitting way to promote 12 years of TNA than throwing matches on the card at the last minute without announcing them on TV. Also, no gimmick matches and none of the other titles on the line? That doesn't make sense for one of the biggest PPVs of the year for TNA.

The appearance of the Von Erichs has led to a jump in ticket sales for TNA. I'm glad to hear it. I'd say the reception to this show has been lukewarm at best.

Fox Business looked at Jeff Jarrett's GFW. What happens with TNA, GFW, ROH and AAA in the States in the next few years will be quite interesting.

WWE promoted the importance of being a father through a national ad campaign featuring Alberto Del Rio, Titus O'Neil and Roman Reigns. That's very touching!

TNA's audience on Thursday was 993,000 going up against the NBA playoffs. That's the second-lowest number they've had in at least two years. I'd personally like Spike to give that timeslot to WWE for Superstars and NXT. Or to GFW or to House of Hardcore or SOMEONE who would make the most of it. It definitely looks like TNA has past its peak and it doesn't look like they're in for any kind of rebirth anytime soon.

Dolph Ziggler talked about his ideal Summerslam opponent and more. I'm sure Ziggler and Barrett could tear down the house. I hope the interviewer was confusing Sami Zayn with Kassius Ohno. Zayn coming up as a heel to team with Cesaro would be ridiculous given the wars they had in NXT. If Cesaro turned face, I could see it working. Zayn's a natural face. Zayn, The Ascension and Neville would definitely be on the short list of next callups from NXT. Corey Graves and Tyler Breeze are in that group as well.

WWE was part of a Special Olympics event. It just dawned on me how much Renee Young and Natalya look alike.

The Usos visited a children's hospital. That's pretty cool.

TNA pulled Bully Ray from a House of Hardcore event, where he was scheduled to team with Abyss against Tommy Dreamer and Devon. Needless to say, the crowd wasn't pleased. Dreamer offered the fans refunds and anyone who brings an HOH ticket to one of TNA's upcoming shows in NY or PA, Bully will meet up for a picture or autograph. Rhino replaced Bully as Abyss' partner. The show featured a number of WWE/ECW/TNA alumni including AJ Styles and Bad Influence. I don't know specifically why TNA pulled Bully Ray, and I hope this wasn't just done to get heat for the Bully vs. Dixie feud. Either way, TNA can hardly afford to get any more heat from hardcore fans at this point.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Wow. Someone really took PWInsider's enthusiasm for the Network the wrong way. Ultimately to me it's not about how much money WWE already has. It's how much they should earn given how much content they're putting out there and the work required to get it out there. It's not just Vince's pockets you're lining. There are a bunch of nameless "little people" who made it all possible.

2. They should definitely book Rollins like he matters if they want him to matter. Look at how Eric Young's booked in TNA for how NOT to book someone you want to get over. He's playing backseat to Dixie, MVP's group and Bully Ray for starters. If they do go with HHH vs. Rollins at some point, it makes sense for Rollins to be the underdog to the future Hall of Famer who's headlined many a PPV (including WrestleManias) and held quite a few World Titles. That said, WWE should be booking performers like Rollins, Bryan, Cesaro, etc. as the stars of the future who aren't a step down from the stars of today.

3. I imagine there are some obstacles to indies working together outside of a big show here and there, as each promoter probably wants his or her acts going over and being most important. As much as some fantasize about an "NWA" between DGUSA, ROH, PWG, etc., I don't really see it happening.

4. It's truly amazing and should be celebrated.

5. You can't tell the story of Paul Heyman without talking about ECW. Going back to the arena for the DVD's a good move to tell about that era.

More wrestling tomorrow.
