Query on Kid Kash, new MITB match, live event notes, NXT name to work big live event and Questions on WWE releases, Pat Patterson, Slammiversary and TNA tapings

First up, a query:
1. I haven't seen anything about Kid Kash in a good while. I'm under the impression he wasn't too thrilled with how things went during his TNA tenure. He's not the only talent to express that sentiment about working there!

The Usos vs. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper for the WWE Tag Team Championship is now set for MITB. They work well together.

With Cena and Bryan out, this weekend's live events were headlined by Sheamus vs. Kane. Kane won via DQ after a low blow. I don't picture Kane doing a low blow when he could just swing a chair or something, but whatever. I'll be curious to see how Kane fits into things going forward. I could see him leaving MITB as WWE Champion somehow, but I feel like WWE's thinking of going another route.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
NXT Womens' Champion Charlotte is set to appear at WWE's  live event loop that includes a show in MSG where her father's also booked. I like what I've seen from Charlotte so far, but is it too early to put her on live events? If she's wrestling Natalya, she should be fine. Bret working that show as well in a rematch of NXT Takeover would be great.

Damien Sandow lost three straight quick matches via pinfall to Titus O'Neil, Bo Dallas and Adam Rose on a recent live event. He cut a promo before the first match and demanded another opponent the first two times he lost. He threw a temper tantrum after the third match. I don't know for sure WWE's trying to throw him under a bus, but that definitely reads like a burial (especially considering his gimmicks recently). I wish there was a competitor with the bankroll and prestige to pick up talents WWE's misusing. If TNA or someone was right on WWE's heels and could offer a similar or better deal to talented performers, I'd like to think WWE wouldn't do what they do with some members of the roster.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. There are a lot more wrestlers to release than writers, so more of them get released. Writers seem to have pretty short tenures in WWE. Working with Vince can be quite demanding! As for why wrestlers get released, it's definitely not because everyone on creative is a total idiot. Sometimes WWE makes cuts for financial reasons and sometimes talents just aren't indispensable/interesting enough for creative to have much for them when compared with more vibrant characters.

2. The key words there are "within the business". As far as I know, it wasn't well-known to the public at large (i.e. outside of wrestling fans/followers). Also, it gave Legends' House a big happy ending and the whole thing some publicity.

3. That's probably the route I would have taken! That said, they had already announced one ladder match for the show and already set up the cage match. But the disappearance of the KOTM match from TNA lore is rather surprising considering it was one of their signature gimmick matches.

4. I'm under the impression Extreme Rising is done.

5. Why would you do that to yourself!? Stay home and watch the WWE Network or something.

More wrestling tomorrow.
